SUNNY BROOK FARM : The Gaugan IA Contest on Hive - Week 51

This week's drawing represents an idyllic place to live. I call it Sunny Book Farm.

There's a stream that runs in between each side of the farm making it seem like the landscape is cut in half. I can see residents waving to each other from opposite sides of the stream. A beautiful place to live with the mountains in the background. Can you imagine sitting on your porch each morning looking out at those mountains and relaxing while having your breakfast and morning coffee?

My idyllic landscape was created using the software, Nvidia GauGAN. This week, I wanted to work on my landscape brush strokes again that didn't include large bodies of ocean, but a small river or stream.

The software generates photorealistic imagery from basic brush strokes. You can add various elements, i.e. buildings, grounds, landscape, and plants. The program takes your basic drawing strokes and apply them to a blank canvas.

The basic strokes you apply to your blank canvas are scanned by the program and interpreted into image shapes. Below is the image of my basic brush strokes. I'm really pleased with the brush strokes that present a beautiful, quiet place to life that serene.

Once you become familiar with the colors of the different objects, you can visually see it. When you look at the finished image, you can see the brushstrokes taking shape with the curved stream color in the middle of the canvas. Look at the houses, each represented by a dark red color on opposite sides of the river. Then look at the mountains, the olive color of green.

Once your brushstrokes are finished, apply your various background filters and effects, the program then creates a drawing based upon those brush strokes from its massive inventory.

You can then download your finished images. Remember to save your brush strokes and each image your produce before moving to the next filter and effects.

Below are several filters and effects I applied. Some were too dark, so I only placed here the ones where you can see the landscape clearly.
