Happy Caturday: my orange cats keep me grounded in reality

Caturday is always a very relaxing day for me. Thinking about my orange cats brings me a lot of calm pleasure and a sense of continuity of life on earth. Sometimes I seem to be living in other time line and dimension which could make me quite confused about the actual day of the week. Sometimes I thought time was moving too fast and that I had lost all my memories of a whole day which meant that I lost one whole day of experiential realty. Sometimes I felt that I had gained an extra day to my delight. I think the electromagnetic fields Atkins the earth must have been playing tricks on my brain and senses.

So I need my cats to remind me of my present reality and life in this dimension of time. I wonder whether other people also had similar experiences about shifting time and reality. This could be disturbing at times; I had to remind myself of all the practical things or tasks I was supposed to do in order to be rooted in my present reality.

The concepts of time and reality are very abstract and intangible to me so I need my orange cats to remind me of where I am and what I am supposed to do. They often remind me of the need to but extra bags of cats food and to check out on them during the night whether they wanted to sleep inside the living room. Sometimes they would spend the night watching the garden or guarding the house.

เรารู้สึกว่าตั้งแต่วันเพ็ญวิสาขบูชาที่ผ่านมา ชีวิตและความเป็นไปในโลกเริ่มมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงอะไรบางอย่าง ที่บ่งบอกว่าเราต้องตั้งรับกับความเปลี่ยนแปลงมโหฬาร ที่กำบังหมุนมาบรรจบกับชีวิตของมนุษย์ในเร็วๆนี้. เราเริ่มเห็นเค้าลางของความไม่แน่นอนในอนาคต นี่ทำให้เราสัมผัสกับความกลัวต่อความเปลี่ยนแปลงที่เราไม่อาจควบคุมได้ เราจึงต้องหายใจลึกๆและคืดถึงแมวส้มของเรา เพื่อให้แมวเป็นตัวเชื่อมเรากับโลกตามความจริงในปัจจุบัน เช่นเราต้องซื้ออาหารแมวเพิ่มกี่ถุงในคราวหน้า หรือเราต้องดูว่าแมวส้มอยากจะนอนในบ้านในตอนกลางคืนหรือไม่

เราไม่รู้ว่าคนอื่นๆมี ความรู้สึกแปลกๆในเรื่องเวลาและมิติของเวลาที่เปลี่ยนแปลงแบบแปลกไปในบางวัน บางครั้งเรารู้สึกว่า เราโดนเวลาขโมยเวลาของเราไปวันหนึ่งเพราะเราจำไม่ได้ว่าเราได้ทำอะไรไปบ้าง แต่บางครั้งเราก็รู้สึกว่าเราได้เวลาเพิ่มมาหนึ่งวัน เราก็ดีใจมากี่ได้เวลาเพิ่มกลับมาชดเชย เวลาที่หายไป ทำไมเราจึงรู้สึกว่าเวลาไม่มีความระยะเวลาที่แน่นอน เหมือนกับว่าเวลานั้นยืดตัวและหดตัวได้ เราต้องคอยเตือนตัวเองว่า เราต้องอยู่กับปัจจุบันที่มีแมวส้มสองตัวที่เราต้องคอยดูแล มันก็ทำให้เราไม่ฟุ้งซ่านคิดมากจนทะลุออกไปในจักรวาลอันกว้างใหญ่. เราจึงรู้สึกขอบคุณที่มีแมวส้มมาอยู่กับเรา ทำให้เรามีชีวิตติดดินอยู่ในความเป็นจริงนั่นเอง

These two orange cats simply live each day to the best of their survival ability. They don’t have complicated thoughts or conflicting desires. They just live minute by minute, reacting to existing surrounding for safety and comfort. They don’t have anxiety about the uncertainty of the future; they don’t care if a meteorite would be hitting the earth. They just eat, play, sleep, fight and run in the garden. That’s why I need them to remind myself of simply living without complicated thinking!
