Market Friday: going to flower shop to cheer myself after the red crypto market!

This is my entry for #marketfriday created by the lovely and kind @dswigle. Life has been like a roller coaster for me lately, especially since last Sunday when the Bitcoin started to dip down like crazy, wiping out all my gain and my plan for digging a well in my garden. Then, it seemed challenging life lessons come as twins plus a small bonus packet! So, I have become a juggler of three hurdles at once. Luckily I had some nice posts of flowers and colourful energies to recharge my battery for a longer emotional trek. I must check those astrological conjunctions when I have time so I could glean some light on what’s going on in this worldly reality this May. I say, I have been very lucky to be able to remind myself to be firm and positive in my outlook and attitude. This positive stance has protected me from more risky or precarious decisions. So, I really have a lot to thank those flower vendors I met during these past few days. Their flowers and friendliness have imperceptibly been supporting my emotional being through this testing time.

I walked passed the small shop-houses on New Road lining with old sweet shops, grocery stores and fish noodle shops. The display of freshly cut flowers made me stopped to take some photos; the owners were looking at me snapping away. I asked one lady for the permission to take photos of the shop; she nodded her head. So, I could get really close to the lovely flowers. If I could eat these energetic colours like drinking some lemonade I certainly would buy some and drink the colour energy straightaway!

This Uraiwan Florist is almost forty years old and the three ladies inside this shop looked well over fifty years old. They were all busy arranging wreaths for funerals. Nowadays, people could order specially designed wreaths to be deliver at funerals at temples in the city. Delivery motor cyclists could be seen delivering up to three wreaths at the same temple before the chanting ceremony. These flowers do help uplifting the low level of energy inside the ceremonial halls.

หลายวันที่ผ่านมาเราต้องเผชิญกับ ความท้าทางทางปัญญากับอารมณ์มากจริงๆ เรามีความรู้สึกเหมือนโดนทดสอบความเข้มแข็งอดทน ตลอดจนความคิดและ การดำรงตนเพื่อให้เท่าทันอารมณ์ที่ผันผวนตามสถานการณ์ เราโชคที่สามารถปรับความคิดและอารมณ์ได้โดยใช้สติ เรามีทางออกโดยการมองดูรูปภาพดอกไม้ที่สวยๆในโพสต์เพื่อให้จิตใจได้มีพลังดีๆเพิ่มเติม เราก็มองโลกในแง่บวกมากขึ้น ส่งผลให้เราค่อยๆคลี่คลายปัญหาที่ต้องขบคิดและแก้ไข อย่างค่อยเป็นค่อยไปได้

เราเดินจากห้างโรบินสันที่บางรักำปตามถนนเจริญกรุง เดินผ่านตึกแถวที่มีร้านขายขนมไทยหลายร้าน ร้านขายของชำ และร้านก๋วยเตี๋ยวลูกชิ้นปลาที่มีชื่อสองร้าน เราก็ไปยืนนิ่งที่หน้าร้านดอกไม้ที่มีอายุเกือบห้าสิบปี เอกไม้ของเขาสดและสวยมาก และเขาจัดได้เหมาะสำหรับหน้าร้านเล็กๆ ผู้หญิงสูงวัยสามคนช่วยกันจัดดอกไม้ และพวงหรีดสำหรับไปส่งที่วัดในตอนเย็น เรามองหน้าผู้หญิงคนหนึ่งแล้วขอถ่ายรูป เขาก็อนุญาตมก้เราถ่ายรูปได้ เราก็สามารถเข้าใกล้ดอกไม้ได้ เราดีใจมากที่ได้ยืนรับพลังดีๆจากดอกไม้สวยเหล่านี้ เราอยากจะเลือกซื้อดอกไม้สักช่อ แต่เรากำลังรีบทำเวลาก่อนร้านขนมปังจะขายขนมปังหมด เราขอบใจคนขายและบอกเขาว่าวันกลังจะเอาเรื่องที่เขียนมาให้ดู เขาก็รับรู้ด้วยการพะยักศีรษะ เราก็รีบเดินต่อไปที่จุดหมายของเรา

I have just started to appreciate flowers in a different way; they seem to become like energy medicine to me! They could change the fuzzy vibes inside my head and make me live in the present all of a sudden. They are not just for decoration or status symbols. Mother Nature has a very delicate ways to heal living beings on earth. We ought to feel deeply grateful to all the nourishments and nature given for our survival by Mother Nature.
