Wrestling cats get tired and went to sleep.

Lately I have noticed that the younger orange cat tried to attack her brother a few times. I had no idea what has gotten into her to provoke her bigger brother into a wrestling match. Kwan would have no chance as soon as Joan got furious; he’s much bigger with longer arms and legs. I had to break up the wrestling match a few times during the last few days.

In the past, it was always Joan who chased his sleeping sister from the table; Kwan has to sleep on the chair quite often. After Joan was fast asleep, Kwan would jump up the table to snuggle with her brother.

Luckily whenever I put my hand on the wrestling cats, they would suddenly stop their fight while I rearrange their sleeping positions. I was testing whether they would bite my hand during the commotion. I would try to break the fight before it got too serious or acrimonious. I did wonder what made Kwan, a timid and shy cat, to become much more aggressive than before. Luckily, after the fight they both got exhausted and became fast asleep. So, peace and quiet returned to the sleeping table with two loving cats looking very secured and relaxed.

เราเริ่มสังเกตเห็นการเปลี่ยนแปลงของแมวส้มของเรา ช่วงหลังนี้แมวตัวเล็กชื่อขวัญ ชอบเป็นฝ่ายกระโดดใส่แมวตัวพี่ที่นอนอยู่เฉยๆ เราไม่รู้ว่าเกิดอะไรขึ้นกับขวัญ มันเป็นน้องตัวเล็กที่ต้องพึ่งพี่ของมันตลอด และขวัญจะเป็นฝ่ายโดนเจ้าจอมไล่ลงจากโต๊ะ ให้ไปนอนที่อื่น แมวสองตัวจะทะเลาะกันเรื่องที่นอนเป็นประจำ เจ้าขวัญต้องยอมแพ้ และลงไปนอนที่พื้น หรือนอนบนเก้าอี้แทน

พอแมวตัวพี่นอนหลับสนิท แมวตัวน้องจึงกระโดดขึ้นไปนอนบนโต๊ะอยู่กับพี่ของมัน แมวขวัญเป็นแมวขี้กลัวและขี้อายมาก มันต้องพึ่งพี่ตลอดเพื่อความมั่นใจในตนเอง เราจึงแปลกใจมากว่าเกิดอะไรขึ้นในระยะหลัง

แต่เราก็ยังดีใจที่แมวสองตัวจะไม่กัดเรา เวลาที่เราเจ้าไปห้ามเวลาทะเลาะกัน บางทีแมวปล้ำและฟัดกันรุนแรงมาก เราต้องรีบเข้าไปห้ามทันที เราไม่อยากให้กลายเป็นเรื่องรุนแรง แมวก็ยอมเราโดยดี และปล่อยให้เราจับแยกไปคนละทาง เราอยากให้แมวรักกันแบะสามัคคีกัน จะได้ช่วยกันดูแลซึ่งกันและกัน เราจะปล่อยให้แมวปลํ้าสู้กันสักพัก แล้วเข้าไปแยกมวยปล้ำ คราวนี้แมวก็เหนื่อยพอดี ทำให้นอนหลับอย่างสบายใจ เราเห็นแมวนอนหลับสนิทอย่างไร้กังวล เราก็สบายใจว่าแมวรู้สึกปลอดภัยในบ้านของเรา

These orange cats make me laugh quite often and they continue to teach me about the importance of harmonious social life and cohesion of relationships. They are my teachers in disguise as orange cats!
