Making a crunchy chinchin

in GEMSlast month (edited)

Hello,
I started this chinchin with my brother @femcy-willy and we are striving hard to satisfy our customers to give them the best taste.
Chinchin is an African snack made with flour and some other ingredients like baking powder, nutmeg, egg, milk, flavor, sugar and vegetable oil.

Chinchin should be neither too hard nor soft after frying.

Procedure for making chichin

step1: Sieve your dry flour and add baking powder then mix together very well. Then mix any other dry substance like flavour, nutmeg then put magrine, it could be melted but mine is not melted. So we rub together with flour and make sure its smooth in mixture.

Step 3: Bring small portion out on flat surface, dust dry flour on the flat surface and on the rolling pin, then roll it be flat for about ¼ inches, then we cut out in strips. Well you can cut it into any desired shape you want.

step 4: we preheat our vegetable oil for about 350°c then we live the chinchin to dry, it should not be too brown then we'll bring out in a bowl; ready to eat or sell out.
