Why I want to write about the Philippines

Being a Filipino I would be very happy to promote my own country which if you will have time to read my post you will surely discover that indeed the Philippines has a lot to offer to its visitors to make their stay meaningful and memorable.

I’ve been working abroad in the past mostly in the Middle East and I always tried to invite my colleagues or friends to come to visit the Philippines if they will have time.

Well, visitors coming to the Philippines could actually help boost our economy so in that way I am helping my country to get more revenue from those foreigners who will come and visit the Philippines. But my other intention is to let other people not a Filipinos to discover the beauty of our Country so that when they will have a good experience here they would also invite their friends to come.

Some of the information you need to know about the Philippines

• Our Country has more than 7 thousand islands, 7,641 islands to be exact.
• Out of the 7,641 islands, only about 2000 islands are inhabited.
• Philippines has more than 900 species of orchids.
• The Philippines has more than 200 volcanoes and 24 of them are active, and it is amazing to know that in the Province of Camiguin there are more volcanoes than towns. They only have 5 towns but has 7 volcanoes.

This is one mind-blowing fact about our country, Camiguin has the most number of volcanoes per square kilometer in the World.

Largest Province in the Philippines

I just knew this, all I thought that the largest province in the Philippines is Davao, but it turn out to be Palawan. Tsk2 my knowledge in history is not that good haha.
