Hola gente de Hive! / Hi Hive folks

Speaking of guilty pleasures, I was struck by a phrase written by Sami Schalk, Associate Professor of Gender and Women's Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison

"A guilty pleasure is something we enjoy, but we know that we are not supposed to like it or that if we like it, it says something negative about us"

In life there are things that give us pleasure but do not always send a signal that it is good to our conscience. A clear example of this in my life history is junk foods, something that my nutritionist always prohibited because he evaluated me and considered that my weight is higher than my height. That result was a constant in me, even if I ate a healthy diet for my metabolism.

XD

It was a martyrdom every time I went out with my family and while they ordered big hamburgers I had to settle for a salad so as not to break the pact.

Likewise, every family gathering always ended with a junk food dinner. From time to time he would break off the engagement and end up giving me the pleasure of tasting a good hot dog. Of course, my conscience was pointing the index finger at me but there was no going back anyway. XD

On the other hand, he had thousands of excuses for eating junk food: "That's not every day", "On Monday you go back to the diet", "go to the gym the next few days", "go jogging half an hour a day". This actually helps a lot, but eating junk food never stopped being a guilty pleasure.
