¿No creen que una de las cosas más horrible de 2020 fueron las clases online? Pues nos persiguen hasta el 2021. Tal vez muchos no saben pero yo estudio en dos universidades al mismo tiempo, carreras que se complementan, Ingeniería en informática y TSU en mantenimiento de sistemas informáticos. La razón es muy sencilla, una de esas universidades me tiene estancada, no avanzo en el semestre. La otra es completamente a distancia y decidí estudiar ahí el año pasado para no perder el tiempo.

Don't you think one of the most horrible things about 2020 was the online classes? Well, they're after us until 2021. Maybe many don't know but I study at two universities at the same time, careers that complement each other, Computer Engineering and TSU in computer systems maintenance. The reason is very simple, one of those universities has me stuck, I do not advance in the semester. The other is completely distance learning and I decided to study there last year so as not to waste my time.

Pasé el Curso Inicial muy bien, fue una sola materia y duró tres meses exactos. Luego estuve de vacaciones desde el mes de Octubre hasta ahora en Enero. La modalidad de clases es a distancia y tenemos asesores que nos indican las actividades, pero básicamente aprendemos por nuestra cuenta gracias a los libros que nos ofrece la universidad, así funciona desde hace muchos años.

I passed the Initial Course very well, it was only one subject and it lasted exactly three months. Then I was on vacation from October until now in January. The modality of classes is distance learning and we have advisors who tell us the activities, but basically we learn on our own thanks to the books that the university offers us, that's how it works for many years.

En este primer semestre tenía que ver únicamente 5 materias, pero decidir introducir 6 para adelantar una materia del siguiente semestre. Como pueden ver en mi planilla de inscripción estaré viendo: Lógica, Lengua y Comunicación, Matemáticas 1, Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible en Venezuela, Introducción a la Informática e Introducción a la Ingeniería en Sistemas.

In this first semester I had to see only 5 subjects, but decided to introduce 6 to advance one subject from the following semester. As you can see in my registration form I will be looking at: Logic, Language and Communication, Mathematics 1, Environment and Sustainable Development in Venezuela, Introduction to Computer Science and Introduction to Systems Engineering.

Mi inicio de clases fue el 11 de enero, antes de ese día procedí a descargar todos mis libros y los planes de curso de cada asignatura. Y procedí a armar mis planes de estudio, identificando todas las evaluaciones que iba a tener a lo largo del semestre, para prepararme mentalmente y cumplir con todas mis obligaciones a la hora de estudiar.

My start of classes was on January 11th, before that day I proceeded to download all my books and the course plans of each subject. And I proceeded to put together my study plans, identifying all the evaluations I was going to have throughout the semester, to prepare myself mentally and to fulfill all my obligations when it came to studying.

Luego me toco leer, leer muchísimo. Lo bueno es que hay asignaturas que me gustan mucho, como Lógica, Introducción a la Informática E Introducción a la Ingeniería en Sistemas. Por lo tanto disfruto mucho de estas lecturas, las demás suelen aburrirme pero igual mi deber es leerlas hasta cumplir con las asignaciones de cada materia.

Then I had to read, read a lot. The good thing is that there are subjects that I like very much, like Logic, Introduction to Computer Science and Introduction to Systems Engineering. Therefore I enjoy these readings very much, the others usually bore me but still my duty is to read them until I fulfill the assignments of each subject.

También suelo tomar notas en el proceso de cada lectura, a veces no todo me queda en el cerebro, para recordar las cosas más fáciles prefiero escribirlas en un cuaderno que destine únicamente para la universidad. Tomar apuntes es muy importante en la vida de todo estudiante, los apuntes pueden salvarnos la vida.

I also usually take notes in the process of each reading, sometimes not everything is left in my brain, to remember the easiest things I prefer to write them in a notebook that is intended only for the university. Taking notes is very important in every student's life, notes can save our lives.
