Estamos cocientes que el uso del tapabocas se verá prolongado por un largo tiempo. Hasta que, por lo menos, no exista una vacuna y esta misma sea distribuida. O pueda neutralizarse el virus por un periodo de tiempo bastante largo.

We are aware that the use of the mouthpiece will be prolonged for a long time. Until, at least, there is no vaccine and it is distributed. Or the virus can be neutralized for a fairly long period of time.

Es por ello que debemos acostumbrarnos a usarlo, en mi caso, ya me he adaptado a la situación. Pero eso no indica que el tapabocas siempre deba de ser feo o simple, podemos ingeniarnos para seguir manteniendo nuestro look bastante diferente y bonito.

That is why we must get used to using it, in my case, I have already adapted to the situation. But that doesn't mean that the mask should always be ugly or simple, we can manage to keep our look quite different and beautiful.

Ya sea para una ocasión de reunión sencilla donde no estén muchas personas o para salir de compras. Así que, junto con mi mamá, mi costurera estrella. Unimos nuestro lado creativo y decidimos crear este juego de mascarilla y diadema, las cuales son tan versátiles que pueden llevarse juntas o por separado.

• En una hoja estuve dibujando el tamaño del tapabocas, de acorde a mi rostro, y lo recorte. Este molde lo ubique en la tela delantera y el forro.

• On a sheet of paper I drew the size of the mask, according to my face, and cut it out. This mold placed it in the front fabric and the lining.

• Se deben cortar 4 piezas del molde, 2 para el forro y las otras 2 para el frente. También dos tiras, una negra y la otra con la tela de la diadema.

• I had to cut out 4 pieces of the mold, 2 for the lining and the other 2 for the front. Also two strips, one black and the other with the headband fabric.

• Luego se unen las piezas, tanto las del frente como el forro, pero cada uno separados por los momentos. También se cosen los laterales hacia adentro.

• Then the pieces are joined, both the front and the lining, but each one separated by the moments. The sides are also sewn inwards.

• Deben quedar como la primera foto. Después se une el frente con el forro por el lado inferior, chocando derecho con derecho, de la tela.

• Ahora se cose la tira estampada por todo el borde superior del tapabocas, primero por un lado. Luego se dobla y se termina de coser.

• Para la parte final de la mascarilla se cose una tira, dependiendo del tamaño de la oreja. Después se voltea y se corta por la mitad.

• Esta pequeña tira se cose al los laterales del tapabocas, formando un semicírculo, los cuales serán las agarraderas.

• Y finalmente esta lista la mascarilla.

• Estiramos la tela destinada para la diadema en una superficie con suficiente espacio. En esta misma se marcan dos rectángulos. Uno de 50x15cm y el otro de 20x7cm. Y estos se recortan.

• Luego utilizo un molde con esta forma, el cual lo encuentras en esta Publicación. Con el cual recorto 2 piezas.

• Se cosen ambos rectángulos uniendo los bordes más largos y se voltean. La tira más pequeña es por donde se va a introducir la elástica.

• Both rectangles are sewn by joining the longer edges and are turned over. The smaller strip is where the elastic will be inserted.

• Esta pieza se debe coser por ambos extremos. Para que la elástica no se doble y se vuelva incomoda. También se une a la tira más grande.

• Luego uno las dos piezas en forma de gota, dejando un espacio en medio para voltear.
