A Special Drawing for A Special Person.

Today I made a very special drawing for a very special person. @edwardstobia, thanks for supporting me. This drawing is for you!

Hoy hice un dibujo muy especial para una persona muy especial. @edwardstobia, gracias por apoyarme. Este dibujo es para ti!

In the very moment I looked at this picture, I said, “This one goes to my drawing folder”. The angles, the background and most important, the guitar, catched my attention. That picture was a masterpiece, so, I took a leaf of paper and made the sketch.

En el momento en que vi esta foto, me dije “Esta va a mi carpeta de dibujos”. Los ángulos, el fondo, y más importante, la guitarra, atraparon mi atención. Esa foto era una obra de arte, así que tome una hoja de papel y realice el boceto

Usually, after making the sketch, I go with the face, but we had no electricity, I decided not to take the risk and make the clothes shadows.

Usualmente, después de hacer el boceto voy con la cara, pero, no teníamos electricidad, decidí no tomar el riesgo y hacer la sombra de su ropa

The next day (Today, haha) when I woke up and made my usual morning routine, I sat on my desk’s chair and began with that face. It had to be perfect; he did his best with my recording, so I had to do my best with this drawing. It was a long erase-and-make-again process, but it was worth it.

Al día siguiente (Hoy, jaja) cuando me desperté e hice mi rutina mañanera, me senté en la silla de mi escritorio y comencé con esa cara. Tenía que ser perfecta; el hizo lo mejor que pudo con mi grabación, así que yo tenía que hacer lo mejor que podía con su dibujo. Fue un largo proceso de borrar-y-hacer-otra-vez, pero valió la pena.

Then I colored the face, the clothes and the guitar.

Luego coloreé la cara, la ropa y la guitarra.

After all that, I began with the background. Though it was beautiful as it was in the picture, I wanted to make something different, something creative. Then, for some reason my music book and some music scores fell to the floor “Do you like us? We’re full of creativity” they said, and that’s when it came, Music! He likes music, his aura can be musical notes, maybe he even breathes music, So I drew those musical notes, his Logo and the pentagram behind him as a stream of wind. When I stepped back and saw It, I knew it was ready. Therefore, I signed it, made my usual victory dance and here I am now, typing this post…

Después de todo eso comencé con el fondo. Aunque estaba hermoso el de la foto, quería hacer algo diferente, algo creativo. Entonces, por alguna razón, mi libro de música y algunas de mis partituras se cayeron al suelo, “¿Te gustamos? Estamos llenas de creatividad” dijeron, y fue ahí cuando se me ocurrió, Música! A él le gusta la música, su aura pueden ser notas musicales, tal vez hasta respire música, así que dibuje esas notas musicales, su logo y el pentagrama detrás de él haciendo el papel de corriente de aire. Cuando caminé hacia atrás y vi el dibujo, supe que estaba listo. Así que lo firmé, hice mi usual baile de victoria, y ahora estoy aquí escribiendo este post…
