Hoy después de haber pasado un día maravilloso y de aniversario, la celebración de los 56 años de casados de mis padres, lo cual es "Una fecha muy especial para la familia". Les cuento cuales fueron los preparativos para este día tan especial y lo bien que la pasamos todos.

Preparativos | Preparations

El 26 de Agosto día jueves nos levantamos temprano como de costumbre. Yo les prepare el desayuno y la mañana trascurrió muy normal. Mi papa le comento a su inquilino que estaban de aniversario de bodas. Luego al finalizar la mañana la gran sorpresa fue que tocaron a la puerta y era una persona con un ramo espectacular y ¿adivinen que? , el inquilino que es el encargado de una empresa de encomiendas se lo envió.

On August 26 Thursday we got up early as usual. I prepared breakfast for them and the morning went very normally. My dad told his tenant that they were celebrating their wedding anniversary. Then at the end of the morning the big surprise was that there was a knock on the door and it was a person with a spectacular bouquet and guess what? The tenant who is the manager of a delivery company sent it to him.

El ramo contenía una tarjeta con una bonita y significativa dedicatoria muy especial para mis padres y toda la familia, el cual decía lo siguiente:

"Dios los bendiga en su Aniversario, que el Santo Cristo de la Grita los siga bendiciendo cada día, los conserve en unión y armonía, le regale mucho años mas para poder seguir disfrutando de ese Amor que los unió un día como hoy hace 56 años, que cada día siga creciendo su amor de la mano de Dios y de sus hijos Uds. que son su guía y ejemplo y a pesar de las dificultades no se rindan pues vendrán mejores momentos, que la paciencia sea su vara y su callado. Que sean miles de años mas. Con inmenso cariño"

The bouquet contained a card with a beautiful and meaningful dedication to my parents and the whole family, which read as follows:

Este día la pasamos tranquilos en familia con un buen almuerzo y una buena cena. En si no se hizo mucho, ya que era día entre semana.

We spent this day relaxing with the family with a good lunch and dinner. Not much was done, since it was a weekday.

El día sábado por la noche mi hijo @reinoldroberts preparo la torta para la celebración del día siguiente.

El domingo de esta misma semana, se compro una caja de cerveza bien temprano, llame y me la trajeron a casa por servicio delivery, porque mi padre tenia muchas ganas de tomarse una cervecita. Les prepare un buen almuerzo, el cual compartimos en familia e invite a mi hermana que es la única que vive aquí en la ciudad, los otros dos hermanos se encuentran fuera pero en el país, y disfrutamos de ese rico almuerzo, que me quedo demasiado bueno, que hasta mi hermana me comento que desde la entrada de la casa se percibía un olor exquisito.

On Sunday of this same week, I bought a case of beer very early, I called and they brought it to my house by delivery service, because my father really wanted to have a beer. I prepared a good lunch, which we shared as a family and I invited my sister who is the only one who lives here in the city, the other two brothers are outside but in the country, and we enjoyed this delicious lunch, which was too good, even my sister told me that from the entrance of the house there was an exquisite smell.

Luego de haber disfrutado del almuerzo, llego la hora de la merienda y fue en este espacio que compartimos y picamos la torta, que les comento quedo muy rica y esponjosa. Y así terminamos de compartir en familia este día tan especial. La celebración fue muy familiar, muy sencilla debido a la pandemia y hay que cuidar sobre todo a mis padres que ya están en avanzada edad.

After enjoying lunch, it was time for a snack and it was in this space that we shared and ate the cake, which I tell you was very rich and fluffy. And so we finished sharing this special day as a family. The celebration was very familiar, very simple due to the pandemic and we have to take care especially for my parents who are already at an advanced age.

Le doy muchas gracias a Dios y a la virgencita por darme unos excelentes padres, además de tenerlos todavía a mi lado y de toda la familia. Disfrutar en familia siempre ha sido nuestra costumbre y celebrar los días especiales aun mas, nunca en mi familia se ha dejado de celebrar las fechas importantes y significativas de cada uno de nosotros.

I thank God and the Virgin Mary for giving me excellent parents, besides having them still by my side and the whole family. Enjoying as a family has always been our custom and celebrating special days even more, never in my family we have never stopped celebrating the important and significant dates of each one of us.
