Revisando fotografías me encontré con momentos especiales y divertidos, bueno siempre que está mi familia los momentos son felices y llenos de alegrías, gracias a Dios. Entre las carpetas de fotos estaba una que contenía momentos compartidos en las hermosas playas de Puerto La Cruz, nuestro anterior lugar de residencia, les puedo decir que ir a la playa era agradable, por lo mucho que disfrutaban mis hijos jugando en la arena y bañándose.
Reviewing photographs I found special and fun moments, well whenever my family is there the moments are happy and full of joy, thank God. Among the photo folders was one that contained shared moments in the beautiful beaches of Puerto La Cruz, our previous place of residence, I can tell you that going to the beach was nice, because of how much my children enjoyed playing in the sand and bathing.

The travel time to the beaches was no more than an hour, choosing the farthest ones, but we usually went to a so-called Conoma which was reached in about 30 minutes with no traffic. También tuvimos la dicha de vivir en un conjunto residencial que tenia piscinas y gracias a Dios la pudimos aprovechar con nuestros hijos, siempre que teníamos tiempo bajábamos con ellos a bañarnos un rato hasta que ellos se cansaban o llegaba la hora de comer. Todos disfrutábamos, generalmente me tocaba estar más tiempo dentro del agua con los niños, mientras mi amada tomaba el sol, eran momentos de relax y máxima diversión.
We also had the joy of living in a residential complex that had swimming pools and thank God we were able to take advantage of this with our children, whenever we had time we would go down with them to swim for a while until they got tired or it was time to eat. We all enjoyed it, generally I had to spend more time in the water with the children, while my beloved was sunbathing, they were moments of relaxation and maximum fun.
El compartir en familia es una bendición, mis hijos son una fábrica de alegrías que llenan mi alma con energía positiva. Cuando estábamos en Puerto La Cruz la situación económica del país y en especial la nuestra, nos permitía darnos algunos gustos, como comer en franquicias de comida rápida, llevar a los niños a comer helados… son detalles que los niños extrañan y claro, a nosotros como padres, al sentir que no podemos seguir dándole esos gustos, nos hace sentir frustración y dolor; pero no permitimos que eso nos perturbe mucho tiempo y buscamos la forma de compensar, lo que nos ha obligado a ser creativos y aprender a hacerles postres (esta parte es la especialidad de mi esposa) y jugar más con ellos.
Family sharing is a blessing, my children are a factory of joys that fill my soul with positive energy. When we were in Puerto La Cruz the economic situation of the country and especially ours, allowed us to give us some tastes, such as eating in fast food franchises, taking the children to eat ice cream ... are details that children miss and of course, to us as parents, feeling that we can not continue to give those tastes, makes us feel frustration and pain; but we don't let that bother us for long and we look for ways to compensate, which has forced us to be creative and learn to make them desserts (this part is my wife's specialty) and play with them more.
Cuando nos mudamos de ciudad, no les afectó el cambio, porque teníamos más tiempo para compartir con ellos, además se acabó el tener que dejarlos en la guardería y ese tiempo lo disfrutaban en casa de la abuelita donde los súper consienten, en el nuevo colegio se adaptaron rápidamente y adicionalmente los inscribimos en actividades extraescolares donde compartían e hicieron nuevas amistades. Pero debido a la situación de pandemia, que ha ocasionado que decreten una cuarentena social, nos ha llevado a compartir más en casa con nuestros hijos. Para consentirlos tratamos en lo posible de tener los ingredientes para hacer tortas de chocolate, preparar cotufas y gelatinas, entre algunas chucherías que les gustan.
When we moved from the city, they were not affected by the change, because we had more time to share with them, plus we no longer had to leave them in the nursery and they enjoyed that time at grandmother's house where they were super pampered. In the new school they adapted quickly and additionally we enrolled them in extracurricular activities where they shared and made new friends. But due to the pandemic situation, which has caused a social quarantine to be decreed, we have had to share more at home with our children. To spoil them, we try as much as possible to have the ingredients to make chocolate cakes, prepare cotufas and jellies, among some of the sweets they like.
Al principio, al conversar usábamos algunas palabras negativas y cuando lo notamos comenzamos a hacer el mayor esfuerzo para eliminarlas y hablar siempre en positivo; por ejemplo, no decirles a nuestros hijos “no hay”, en su lugar, cuando nos piden algo lo anotamos en nuestra lista de compras para así tenerlo pronto. Para que ellos no tengan mentalidad de escases, tenemos que asimilarlo y asumirlo como rutina. En unión de mi amada esposa hemos decidido buscar las alternativas para que la situación externa no afecte a nuestros hijos, no es fácil para ellos el no poder compartir con los amiguitos; mirar por la ventana y no salir a jugar, les afecta, por eso estamos dedicándoles el mayor tiempo posible y en nuestras oraciones no falta el pedir por la erradicación del covid-19 y que el mundo regrese a la normalidad.
