A Bright Cold Autumn Morning

Today was the first frosty morning of the year. I had to scrape ice off the windscreen of my car, which cost us precious minutes and my daughter was late for school. I should've known this. But live and learn. Autumn break is next week but tomorrow morning I'll be taking her to figure skating practice. I have to drive the car into the garage tonight.

As you can see, the change in weather conditions is pretty obvious.

This street leading up to the top of the esker and then down to the city center has a few sex shops/private strip tease joints along it. It does not have a particularly bad reputation, however. From time to time you hear people complain about how it is impossible for anyone to avoid seeing them if they have arrived by train or bus and are walking towards the city center.

I like the colors.

Bike and footpaths like on the right side of the street are commonplace in the city. You can ride a bike from any suburb to the city center often without even having to cross streets because of the large number of underpasses.
