Went to the city to buy stuff from a hardware store. Took a little detour. Took some pictures from along the way.

I don't know what that building is. It didn't seem to be the main one. It's a storage building of some sort, I guess. I'm not sure I like the solar panels and the traditional architecture together.

The general attitude in Finland is to prefer hot beach weather. You don't have to be particularly skilled at reading between the lines to tell that even the weatherman on television is partial to warm and sunny weather. People pay pretty penny to get to the Mediterranean, the Red Sea or the Caribbean or Southeast Asia to escape the grey skies. But I find that there is something very appealing to this kind of bright green summer landscapes when its rainy and a bit cool. It was about 13 C when I came home not too long ago. I was wearing shorts and a light jacket. I certainly prefer photography in this kind of weather so long as it is not raining so heavily as to deter me from stepping out of the car to spare my camera gear.
