Calabaza Onírica

Esta fotografía, como ya te puedes haber dado cuenta es de una calabaza. Hace unos días fui de compras y entre la lista de cosas por comprar se encontraba la calabaza, al llegar al Supermercado me llamó mucho la atención la forma de una de ellas pues esta tenía un extremo estrecho que se iba expandiendo poco a poco dejando ver una gran cavidad, lo cual me recordó mucho al gran Tiburón Peregrino.
Para lograr el efecto, abrí la imagen en el programa online Deep Dream Generator el cual me encanta, pues además de ser muy fácil de emplear posee diversos estilos predeterminados que puedes aplicar en las fotografías para crear una especie de apariencia onírica. Así que básicamente, lo único que debes hacer es seleccionar la fotografía desde tu ordenador y escoger el estilo que quieras y el programa se encarga de hacer el resto…sencillo, ¿no?
This photograph, as you may have noticed, is of a pumpkin. A few days ago I went shopping and among the list of things to buy was the pumpkin. When I arrived at the Supermarket, I was very impressed by the shape of one of them, because it had a narrow end that was expanding little by little, revealing a large cavity, which reminded me a lot of the great Pilgrim Shark.
To achieve the effect, I opened the image in the online program Deep Dream Generator which I love, because besides being very easy to use it has several predetermined styles that you can apply to the photographs to create a kind of dreamlike appearance. So basically, all you have to do is select the photo from your computer and choose the style you want and the program does the rest...simple, right?
Luego de haber aplicado el estilo deseado, empleé el editor de fotografía online Pixlr.com para retocar un poco la imagen ajustando ciertos parámetros como claridad, también apliqué algunos filtros para realzar un poco más las formas y los colores.
After applying the desired style, I used the online photo editor Pixlr.com to retouch the image a little bit adjusting certain parameters like clarity, I also applied some filters to enhance the shapes and colors a little bit more.

Hi @maryed I love your effects on the pumpkin and how it turned out using Deep Dream Generator. I use that program often because the of numerous filters and effects. Another filter on the pumpkin would make for a great Color Challenge entry.

Thank you! You're right, it would be a good entry to the Color Challenge... I'll keep playing with the effects and see what I get. I like Deep Dream Generator quite a lot, besides it doesn't limit you to its already established styles, you can also select your own from your computer and that's great.
