Después de ir al centro comercial con mi prima, ella se enamoró de una Blusa a los Hombros, pero con los altos precios que la ropa tiene actualmente en mi país Venezuela, no pudo comprarla.
On his way home, he was sad. So I asked him to go to his closet, pick a shirt he didn't like anymore, and bring it to me. That he was going to give her a pleasant surprise.
De camino a casa, estaba triste. Así que le pedí que fuera a su armario, que escogiera una camisa que ya no le gustara y que me la trajera. Que le iba a dar una agradable sorpresa.
The Materials to Use:
- An old long-sleeved shirt.
- 1 Scissors.
- 1 carousel of pins.
- 1 tape measure or ruler.
- 1 Pencil or fabric chalk.
- Elastic 4 centimeters wide x 50 centimeters long.
- Elastic 2 centimeters wide x 10 centimeters long.
- White thread.
- Sewing machine (It is optional).
Los Materiales a Utilizar:
- Una vieja camisa de mangas larga.
- Tijeras.
- 1 carrusel de alfileres.
- 1 cinta métrica o regla.
- 1 Lápiz o tiza de tela.
- Elástico de 4 centímetros de ancho x 50 centímetros de largo.
- Elástico de 2 centímetros de ancho x 10 centímetros de largo.
- Hilo blanco.
- Máquina de coser. (Es opcional).
Transformation Proccess.
Step 1
On a flat surface we place the shirt. On this occasion it was decided to cut the part above the shoulders and cuffs of the shirt. With a pencil and the help of a ruler or tape measure we will mark in a straight way, and then proceed with the scissors to cut the marked part.
Paso 1
Sobre una superficie plana, colocamos la camisa. En esta ocasión se decidió cortar la parte superior de los hombros y los puños de la camisa. Con un lápiz y con la ayuda de una regla o cinta métrica, marcaremos de forma recta y luego procederemos con las tijeras para cortar la parte marcada.
Step 2
In this way we have left our shirt cut off the top and the cuffs of the shirt.

De esta manera, hemos dejado nuestra camisa cortada en la parte superior y los puños de la camisa.
Step 3
Once we have cut our piece, we will take our elastics to know the width of the shoulders and the cuffs of the shirt.
On the shoulders the hem was 6 centimeters because the elastic to use was 4 centimeters wide.
On the cuffs of the shirt the hem was 4 centimeters because the elastic to use was 2 centimeters wide.
We will hold the hems of the shirt with the help of the pins.
Paso 3
Una vez que hayamos cortado nuestra pieza, tomaremos nuestros elásticos para conocer el ancho de los hombros y los puños de la camisa.
En los hombros, el dobladillo tenía 6 centímetros porque el elástico a usar tenía 4 centímetros de ancho.
En los puños de la camisa, el dobladillo tenía 4 centímetros porque el elástico a usar tenía 2 centímetros de ancho.
Sostendremos los dobladillos de la camisa con la ayuda de los alfileres.
Step 4
Time to sew our piece, you need to carefully remove the pins while sewing the blouse. This time I help myself with the sewing machine, but you can also sew your piece with a needle and thread, I recommend using a thread of the same color so that the finish is better.

Es hora de coser nuestra pieza, debe quitar cuidadosamente los alfileres mientras cose la blusa. Esta vez me ayudo con la máquina de coser, pero también puedes coser tu pieza con una aguja e hilo, te recomiendo usar un hilo del mismo color para que el acabado sea mejor.
Time to sew our piece, you need to carefully remove the pins while sewing the blouse. This time I help myself with the sewing machine, but you can also sew your piece with a needle and thread, I recommend using a thread of the same color so that the finish is better.
Once the seam has been done both on the edge of the shoulders and on the cuffs, finally we are going to insert our elastics, and then secure them with the seam.
- The elastic to insert in the upper part of the shoulders was 50 centimeters long.
- The elastic to insert into the cuffs of the blouse was 10 centimeters long.
Una vez que se ha realizado la costura tanto en el borde de los hombros como en los puños, finalmente vamos a insertar nuestros elásticos y luego asegurarlos con la costura.
- El elástico, para insertar en la parte superior de los hombros tenía 50 centímetros de largo.
- El elástico, para insertar en los puños de la blusa tenía 10 centímetros de largo.
Step 5
In this way our White Blouse is ready, with a beautiful gathered both at the height of the shoulders and at the cuffs.

End Result
