The Day Before HIVE Went Live - At The Garden Center

Thoughts on Hive On A Market Friday dd. 27.03.2020...

It was a Thursday that I won´t easily forget since the following day, Friday, had been the most awaited moment for HIVE to go live. I was nervous since there are so many "what if questions" going on in my mind. After almost three years of being at Steem, I just have mixed-feelings. With the Steem devs migrating and forming the Hive, I knew blogging at the Steem blockchain will not be the same as it was in the past.

At any rate, in this edition of my Market Friday, I am sharing here my visit to the garden center before Hive went live. I was there to get inspired to take away my thoughts on how the new HIVE platform would function as far as I am concerned, and the question that arose was.... will it be better than Steem under the "hostile-take" over or will it be a flop?

Went to get some inspirations...and found myself at the garden center...

There are just plenty of flowering plants to choose from... and as I was going round the center, I was already planning what to have on the balcony in the new apartment we are moving into.

Though I never planted vegetables below in my garden because of slugs, I have all my cherry tomatoes, eggplants, lettuce, bell pepper, zucchini, strawberies, cukes and raspberries upstairs on the top terrace and mind you planted in containers. I have had good harvest too every season.

And this season will be the same as in any other seasons as I have no choice but to plant them in pots. The terrace is quite bigger than the one I have now.. so I am wishing that I will have a good harvest anytime soon.

While it was too cold to go to the park, the garden center seems to be the best place to be. Homebodies love to roam around, I also roam around here. And as Spring is here already, everyone gets to plan on what will be the set of flowers and vegetables are to be planted in the garden or in pots to adorn the balcony.

I have a set of 12 clay pots to hang on the wall in the new place and I will make one of its walls to be my spanish wall. I got the style and inspirations from my travels in Spain, so I hope it would turn out to be lovely, am crossing my fingers!

And so to those of you who are living in warm countries,I am sure you are not idle.. or are you? Get your gloves and start planting your lovely flowers, lol! It will be a great chore in times of self quarantine and lockdown and you will not get bored. "A gardener is always a gardener not matter what!"

I am hoping that this pandemic will soon be over... all shops in the city and actually the whole of the country are closed and this is our 2nd week of lockdown... So I hope all are taking precautions. And to those gardeners like me, we will still be able to plant our flowers, that is for sure.

Oh, how lovely!!! I love to peruse the garden shops and get ideas for my garden! Some of my best ideas are partly inspired by the things I see online or on someone's post. :)

I worried about the change and how it would affect me. I am still not comfortable but I know that it will come in time. Right?? I have to hope so. I love Steem or what it once was and I didn't want that party to end. But, staying with all of our people over here is out of the question.

Le sigh.

Well, I just want you to know I appreciate you and your post on to the challenge! Always appreciated!

#MarketFriday loves you!
