DIY design of little girls ball dress
Hello Hiveians
This post contained the processes for the series of dresses I have started making for each of my sister in preparation for a big day (Our elder sisters wedding).
Am making ball dresses for the little girls even though am yet to figure out what styles for the older adults will be because of the multi faces of ideas running through my head.
The ball dress is already at the completing stage, I have been able to cut out the various parts from the flair using a scuba fabric and the net lace for the upper part of the bodice.
I used their measurements to create a basic bodice block here and used that to cut out the fabric.
That was for the upper block and the scuba for the flair was cut here and in this manner.
The final process would be to stitching up these pieces and add some finishing touches.
This is coming really slowly because am having some pain episodes in between because of my blood disorder crisis (I have sickle cell 😂) and the fact that i have been exposed to too much stress lately.
I hope to get some beautiful outfits ready for each one when due and I hope I can meet up with the task.
