My design of a princess bustier blouse
Hello Hiveians
I decided to try something different this time around, designing a princess bustier blouse for my bestie @gloriaolar.
Sunday is their cultural day in church and one of the cultural attires we cherish is our African print ankara fabric.
In designing this I first drafted a pattern on brown paper using her measurements and after seeing to the accuracy of that I then transfered my pattern to the fabric and cut out single pieces of the design.
To get the bustier cup design which stands at the bust area like a brassiere I added interface to the wrong side of both the ankara fabric and the brown color lining used to turn the cloth.
Even without putting the blouse on a princess bustier will have that firmness and standing brassiere cup that a lady may not necessarily put on a bra when wearing this.
Cutting and sewing by me
I then did all the necessary things and took everything to the machine where I did the stitching putting every pieces of the blouse together.
I think you have one wrong picture there
Thank you... I will check and edit
