I want to share with you how the afternoon of this day passed, and that is that due to the various power failures in my country, the electric power is constantly going and this is not the worst of our problems because there have been shortages of domestic gas for several months and the vast majority of people cook on small electric burners, unfortunately, and due to the lack of electricity, we cannot do this, which is why many resort to home-made stoves.

Quiero compartir con ustedes como paso la tarde de este día, y es que debido a las diversas fallas eléctricas en mi país, la energía eléctrica se va constantemente y este no es el peor de nuestros problemas pues hay escasez de gas doméstico desde hace varias meses y la gran mayoría de las personas cocinan en pequeñas hornillas eléctrica, lamentablemente y debido a la falla de luz ni eso podemos hacer, por lo que muchos recurrimos a fogones hechos en casa.

Today my afternoon started this way after putting together my homemade sawdust stove I have just started preparing dinner, although I do it with great enthusiasm since one of my great passions is cooking, I am concerned about the fact that many people are Currently ill in my town, many say it is only a temporary flu and others think it is covid-19, and although this stove does not release as much smoke as the rest, it still affects people who are suffocated.

It is difficult to know if it is this terrible virus that afflicts them because in my town they have not taken the measures to carry out the necessary tests, so everyone is in their homes and although home stoves cause discomfort, everyone should resort to them for lack of domestic gas, this stove that we made at home is a little less annoying since it does not release as much smoke as the rest and we light it in the upper part of the house so that the smoke does not reach the neighboring houses.

Hoy mi tarde a comenzado de esta manera después de armar mi estufa casera de aserrín acabo de iniciar la preparación de la cena, aunque lo hago con mucho entusiasmo pues una de mis grandes pasiones es cocinar, me preocupa el hecho de que muchas personas se encuentran actualmente enfermas por mi localidad muchas dicen que es solo una gripe pasajera y otros opinan que es covid-19, y aunque esta estufa no bota tanto humo como el resto esto igual afecta a las personas que están asfixiadas.

Es difícil saber si es este terrible virus el que los aqueja pues en mi localidad no han tomado las medidas para realizar las pruebas necesarias, por lo que todos se encuentran en sus hogares y aunque los fogones caseros causan molestia todos deben recurrir a ellos por falta de gas doméstico, esta estufa que hicimos en casa es un poco menos molesta pues no bota tanto humo como el resto y la encendemos en la parte alta de la casa para que el humo no llegue a las casas vecinas.

I decided to start with the most complicated thing so I started making a stewed meat, waiting for the electrical energy to come to an end to put the rest of the food in the electric kitchen, because usually when meals take time the stove runs out and we must leave it rest so that you can prepare it again and continue cooking.

Decidí comenzar con lo más complicado así que empecé haciendo una carne guisada, esperando que la energía eléctrica llegue al terminar para poner hacer el resto de la comida en la cocina eléctrica, pues por lo general cuando las comidas demoran la estufa se acaba y debemos dejarla reposar para poderla preparar nuevamente y poder seguir cocinando.

Unfortunately, all of us in Venezuela are going through very hard situations, due to the shortages of food, domestic gas, drinking water and poor electrical service, and although things are getting worse every day, I think it is important to face them with the best possible enthusiasm because we must not decline. and we must always hope that everything will pass soon, both the coronavirus and the bad situation that the country is going through in general.

Todos en Venezuela lamentablemente estamos atravesando situaciones muy dura, debido a la escasez de alimentos, gas doméstico, agua potable y el mal servicio eléctrico, y aunque las cosas estén cada día peor creo que es importante enfrentarlas con el mejor entusiasmo posible pues no debemos decaer y debemos siempre tener esperanza que todo pasara pronto, tanto el coronavirus como la mala situación que atraviese el país en general.
