Pero sin saberlo que el tiempo se le va por un largo recorrido, para poder comparar se le hace, ya de noche en el camino de regreso a casa, tan solo quedan unos poco metro de llegar en su camioneta, ve como demoníaco gato negro está parado en el medio del camino, como si este espera a Manuel como otra de sus víctima, con su mirada muy macabra, Manuel acelera muy fuerte para arrollar al animal, pero este logra huir del camino.

Este le cuenta a su esposa lo ocurrido, ella lo calma por ver su cansancio, este hombre buscaría la verdad de todo, en esa noche de una largo viaje, ya todos durmiendo se escuchan un grito de socorro, pero ya al momento que todo llegaron a la habitación de la cocinera, ya está estaba muerta con el siniestro gato encima de esta, Manuel haber tan descaro asesinato, busca su arma (escopeta), que escondía en su camioneta, al momento de llegar el macabro gato negro, ya no estaba, comienza la cacería para ponerle final a la bestia, su esposa de inmediato va a buscar a sus hijos, pero solo encontró a sus dos hijos y a su hija no, esta se desploma en el mundo del desespero cayendo en el juego del gato y el ratón, sus hijo le comenta que fue el mayordomo se la llevo poniéndola en peligro.

María va corriendo a buscar a su esposo y envía a sus dos hijos que guardaran en la camioneta que la tuviera prendida, los valientes y preocupado esposos se encuentra, pero escucha el grito de su hija que provenía de la cocina, frente a sus ojos se encontraba el mayordomo con una pistola apuntando a la hija de ellos, el mayordomo le dice que baje su escopeta o le dispara a su hija, Manuel no le queda de otra y lo hace con mucha ira, luego el mayordomo macabro le dice a María, que fuera rápido a la habitación de su abuela y buscara un cofre, el cual este se encontraba debajo del dormitorio de ella, María sale corriendo con llanto corriendo a buscar el misterioso cofre, solo en sus ojitos dilatados se ve la eternidad de Manuel tenía en ver que María se tardaba en llegar, quiso improvisar pero el mayordomo le dispara en la pierna hiriéndolo gravemente.

María llega llorando y se asombra más cuando ve la sangre de la herida de su esposo por toda la cocina, el valiente hombre se quita la camisa y se la amara para parar la hemorragia, una vez llegó con el crepúsculo de la perdición de la paz a su familia……..
