Wednesday Walk and Make Me Smile

avatar

I had been mistakenly posting yesterday about my Wednesday walk. After learning that yesterday was still Tuesday, I can't reverse it anymore. I was just so excited to commemorate the death anniversary of my beloved grandfather who died at 54 of age last 1985. If you are willing to read how he dies and what we had been through in one week July 1985, which was full of bad luck.

Today is Wednesday, July 08

Last night I planned to go to the house of my friend but I changed my mind. Covid19 is freely spreading at this time. As if people are no longer afraid. They go and do what they want. Anyway, most of them have all the prevention gear, masks, gloves, and sanitizer. Last few months, there were a few people infected but now there are more members of the clan already have it.

Thinking of my Wednesday post, so I just made my morning duty earlier.

The garden has no life, the temperature has enormous hotness and humidity. The dusty wind blows as we are slowly bracing the sandstorm season.

They removed the old soil but they didn't find good soil to fill in. I told them before to remove only a small amount but they didn't listen to me It's fine.

I planted in the first layer with all white periwinkle, purple for the second layer and the last one will be planted tomorrow.

Hopefully these could survive the season and we could see them alive next month.

Poor bougainvillea didn't survive.

Two lemons are so healthy.

I planted moringa and I saw tiny leaves growing.

The big moringa tree was being removed due to its root made start damage to the fence. They asked permission if I will be okay if they had to remove the tree. It's painful for me. I planted it 15 years ago but I understood their point.

I hope I could have a good moringa tree again outside the house.

After planting the flowers, I looked for Whitey but he was not around again. I traced him inside the fence of our neighbor and he never knows how to return back home. Later in the afternoon I will go and fetch him.

Impartially done planting flowers and I will continue doing it tomorrow.

I ate my breakfast with an Arabic sandwich with mango juice. inbound4048241199791478222.jpg

Just to be grateful for how they care for me. It's because I also cared for them all, too.

I'm still kicking and doing many things to do today and in this part, I will be so g goodbye. See you next Wednesday. I hope it makes sense for the initiative of @tattoodjay and made you smile @elizacheng.

Thank you so much!

Thank you for dropping by @jaynie. Here in Saudi Arabia, it's too hot and the sandstorm is just starting this week. It will take 2 to 3 months. Im so worries about the plant whether it survives or not.

My pleasure :) Oh no! Couldn't think of anything worse than a sandstorm! I hate the wind on its own... add sand to that, what a nightmare lol. Hope you manage to take successful care of them... perhaps some shade cloth to surround them and lessen the effects of the sand and wind?

All window type aircon will be covered back to back downstairs. All the doors must have a wet cloth to avoid the dust get inside the tiny holes.

22 years of working here is enough experienced to manage everything well. They have no system. They are just buying, eating and sleeping. When awake going somewhere. Thanks God, I have those ideas so lessen burden.

No worries about getting the days mixed up... It happens to me too... In fact I am actually OK with any day whenever you wanna post your WednesdayWalk MakeMeSmile... It doesn't have to be really on a Wednesday... I am totally fine with it...
It's been a long time since your grandfather left you... Mine too... I have never met my paternal grandfather... He was gone before I was born.

Sad to hear that you didn't see your paternal grandparent. I am still so lucky. I also saw the grandmother of my grandfather. She died when I was 7 years old

We are always celebrating her death anniversary every May 6 to 8. That is the yearly schedule of our reunions.
