HOW I MADE A ROUND FLAP BLAZER USING IRISH MATERIAL.

Good morning everyone,

This morning I'll be showing you how I made a lovely round flap blazer using irish material. It was made in accompaniment of the trouser I posted yesterday as you can see that same material was used. It can be worn seperately or together as shown in the picture below.

I will be showing the process of how I got it done below and please your comment is highly appreciated.

Cutting process

Like I've said in my previous post, I have my patterns for jacket and they are 5.

  • The front
  • The back
  • The side
  • The hand which comprises of 2

  • Before I proceed to sewing, I applied hair stay to the materials.

After this has been done, I cut the lining and started sewing in full.

METERIALS USED ARE:

  • fabrics (Irish)
  • thread
  • warden
  • shoulder pads
  • hairstay
  • collar stay
  • linen

SEWING PROCESS

  • Before sewing I marked the that where I want to fix chest and side pocket then the back marked

  • I ironed then fix the pockets.

  • After the pocket has bin fixed, join the fronts to the back and fix the hand and apply warden and shoulder pads.

  • Then I fixed the linen, iron thoroughly, fix the buttons and button holes.
