HOW I MADE A ROUND FLAP BLAZER USING IRISH MATERIAL.
Good morning everyone,
This morning I'll be showing you how I made a lovely round flap blazer using irish material. It was made in accompaniment of the trouser I posted yesterday as you can see that same material was used. It can be worn seperately or together as shown in the picture below.
I will be showing the process of how I got it done below and please your comment is highly appreciated.
Cutting process
Like I've said in my previous post, I have my patterns for jacket and they are 5.
- The front
- The back
- The side
- The hand which comprises of 2
These are shown below
- Before I proceed to sewing, I applied hair stay to the materials.
After this has been done, I cut the lining and started sewing in full.
METERIALS USED ARE:
- fabrics (Irish)
- thread
- warden
- shoulder pads
- hairstay
- collar stay
- linen
SEWING PROCESS
- Before sewing I marked the that where I want to fix chest and side pocket then the back marked
- I ironed then fix the pockets.
- After the pocket has bin fixed, join the fronts to the back and fix the hand and apply warden and shoulder pads.
- Then I fixed the linen, iron thoroughly, fix the buttons and button holes.
Final look.
