Portrait - Retrato

Years ago I have become an amateur of photography. I have always liked to immortalize beautiful moments, memories of trips, and everything that catches my attention.

Hace años que me he vuelto un aficionado de la fotografía. Siempre me ha gustado inmortalizar lindos momentos, recuerdos de viajes, y todo aquello que llame mi atención.

Portraits are one of the photographs that I like the most because with these photos it is possible to capture the true essence of the person who poses for us, highlighting their gaze. These photographs, in addition to highlighting the physical characteristics of people, usually reveal their state of mind at that time.

Los retratos son una de las fotografías que más me gustan porque con estas fotos se logra captar la verdadera esencia de la persona que posa para nosotros destacando su mirada. Estas fotografías además de resaltar las características físicas de las personas suelen dejar al descubierto su estado de ánimo de ese momento.

Although portraits are usually made of the face in close-up, they can also be taken in full length. In one way or another, it is always very important to select the context in which the photo will be taken, since it is very important in this type of shot to help focus attention on the person to whom the portrait is made.

Si bien generalmente los retratos suelen hacerse de la cara en primer plano, también pueden realizarse de cuerpo entero. Sea de una forma u otra siempre es muy importante la selección del contexto en el cual se tomara la foto ya que es muy importante en este tipo de tomas para ayudar a que la atención se centre sobre la persona a quién se le hace el retrato.

Los retratos requieren de conocimientos específicos donde tanto la selección del lugar donde se tomaran las fotos, la iluminación del lugar y otras consideraciones nos darán la posibilidad de jugar con la apertura del diafragma y otras configuraciones de nuestra cámara. Lo importante en este tipo de tomas es hacer foco en los ojos de nuestro modelo.
