Simply Being.

It can be difficult to live in today’s world where simplicity and calmness are overlooked when they should be appreciated. Every day, humans are constantly gripped and plugged in.

Calendars and deadlines, places to be, lengthy to-do lists, noise and competitions, fast cars, trendy Twitter hashtags and social media craze for latest stuff, etc. We’re all over the place and we’re loving the indulgence.

While being active and busy is a good thing, it is highly subjective, and isn’t always a good metric for measuring useful and meaningful work.

Lot’s of people are spending so much energy and time on the things that end up meaning nothing to them. and not only are some of these things flat-out unnecessary, they can be counterproductive too.

It begs the question; Are we being busy because we have important things to do? Or because everyone else seems to be?

There are enough distractions around you to make you lose focus on the important things. And by being too busy, you play right into them. It makes you pay less attention and it leads to a lot of hasty decisions that can result in avoidable mistakes. Doing too many things at once has also been proven as a key reason for minimal productivity.

Why so busy?

Why isn’t anyone focused on just being?

Still Waters Run Deep.

“Being” is an interesting exercise and a great state of mind to achieve. It’s the ‘ungrip’ and intentional disconnect from stuff to achieve clarity and to focus on the things that matter the most. It’s the stillness to step back and observe the bigger picture, to take life in bits, in the moments. Being is about paying attention.

Maybe we should slow down. When we spend too much time running around in the playing field, it’s easy to forget the strategy, and that can impact our judgement.

There’s only little value in chasing shadows or wanting what everyone else has. Rather, I think there are benefits and lessons to discover when we take life slowly, and step back to understand ourselves and others better, enjoying each moment for what they are.

You’ll never know, maybe the best way to get your life back is to stop, watch and do nothing for a while, to simply be.

A little birdie dropped your message with me.
Hello,@pangoli!

On simply being. I am at that point, and Netflix has really been of great help😁😁😁....
But, I think it's wearing off already. Because I found myself here.

How are you?😉

Wemmy came back!!
I've been good, dear. It's not been easy with the whole thing. But I have been coping.

It's good to see you back on here dear. I gave Seesladen some tips and I hope he's close enough to share them with you. I've been busy with a lot of things so much that I've not had the time to post on here everyday. But I hope I do it often.

Cheers.
