Stay home, Share 3 travel posts—Day 1.

This is my entry for the initiative by @psos of Stay Home, Share 3 travel photos.

This COVID-19 pandemic has created panic all over the globe and everyone is quarantined. The best way to keep people busy with their work and not to feel bored is making such contests on Hive like communities. The earth is under lockdown and millions of people lost their jobs due to this lockdown so the best way to earn some stipends or some source of income is to blog here regularly and raise your voice.

This is basically my first post for this contest and I would also like to invite @sammaz, @syedubair, and @xee-shan to take participate in this contest.

We know everyone in the world loves to travel. Exploring new places is such an amazing thing to do in life. I love traveling to new places. I have traveled the most in last year, the reason behind it is I was free from any sort of work. I traveled to many places in my state, I also traveled to outside state as well.

Due to this lockdown, this year I am not able to travel much more, and also I have to go along my academics so it is a little bit difficult to find some time for traveling. Whatever! I visited many tourist places back in 2019 and I captured most of them in my lens, so as this contest is all about sharing 3 pictures, I would love to participate in it.

1: Tulip Garden

Tulip Garden in Kashmir is Asia's largest garden of tulips which is open for only 28 days during the month of April. Back in 2019, during April I visited Tulip Garden first time in my life with my family. It is not far away from my hometown, hardly about 50 Miles. But due to insufficient time and under schooling, I was not able to go there. As this time is the time of exams and it is only open during this month. That is why I didn't go there before.

2:High Peaks of PIR KI GALI

PIR Ki GALI is the famous peak in my state which is almost 11.5k feet above sea level. It is located in the Pir Panjal range which surrounds the whole Kashmir valley. It is also known as the part of Himalayas. Because of its high altitude, people are more likely to visit there. It is covered with snow most of the time in a year for nearly about 8 months. The above picture is taken in the month of July in 2019. So you can imagine how much snow will be there in winter. It is almost about 8 feet tall during winters.

3:Dargah—The famous Shrine

I love sacred places and Dargah is one among them. It is located in the capital of the state Srinagar which is nearly 1 hour from my hometown. I have been visiting there every year with my parents or some time with my friends. Last time when I was studying for the entrance examination, I visited there along with my friend and took this beautiful scene. It is located on the coast of the famous lake named Dal Lake which I am going to talk about in the next post. It looks amazing when we see through the lake view.
