The death of Zip, Jaz & Flash. (A ¿fiction? story)

«Chapter One»

What if it's not an Eyesight defect but rather a Brainwiring defect?

Sometimes I wonder:

¿Why so many good authors and content creators in our blogging ecosystem including myself, in my opinion. We all have that amazing and extraordinary invisibility skill as to not be easily seen or perceived by the big whales, blubbery overweight cetaceans and midweight sea mammals in our social cryptosphere?

Ok, let me explain.

It doesn't sound a bit curious and interesting to you the fact that most of these corpulent marine mammals, almost all of them suffer of some sort of humor blindness, comedy related daltonism or plain lack of perception for pink hilarious content? To me, it looks like they have a very serious difficulty to pick up and appreciate those colorful writing tones and reward them properly. Isn't it?

I mean...

This looks as if all of us who tend to express ourselves with some hue or sophisticated shade of comedy, satire, humor, sarcasm, irony and cynicism to relate and describe what is happening around us, each one of us is wearing some kind of camouflage suit, effective cloak of invisibility or using some sort of infallible cloaking device or unseeable attire as to attract upvotes and comments or feedback from them.

The usual suspects.

I would be tempted to name a good number of these good authors and content creators that I have referred to earlier. But nah, I think there would be too many. So I better mention only some of those marine mammals, the most popular and well-known, because I suppose there would be many less to name.

And by popular clamor and on behalf of my misfit colleages, here's the short list.

The leaderboard, pick your favorite:

  1. @buildawhale / @themarkymark
  2. @smartsteem / @therealwolf
  3. @appreciator / @bluemist
  4. @leo.voter / @onealfa.leo
  5. @ranchorelaxo / @haejin
  6. @ocdb / @acidyo
  7. @theycallmedan
  8. @blocktrades
  9. @broncnutz
  10. @azircon
  11. @altleft
  12. @pfunk
  13. @xeldal

Yeah, let's leave it to those top 13 for now. Simply, because 13 sounds like an interesting and cabalistic number. Also, because I think that inverted pyramid-shaped list also looks kinda pretty. But yeah, I certainly could go on and add a handful of sea mammals more. So we are also gonna name them, lest they feel excluded or are going to feel bad by my omission. };)

Actually, looks cute these inverted pyramid-shaped lists right? LoL

Of course I could name many more of these elusive cetaceans. But I'm gonna leave this on these eighten so far. Solely, because these are the ones that you can see sporadically voting content lately in our remunerated "social network" in the blockchain. A kinda remunerated "social network" where the sense of humor has no place to be well appreciated and rewarded anymore.

«Chapter Two»

Since a few months ago, I've given myself the task of reviewing the trending and hot pages of Hive almost daily. Yeah! sometimes looking for inspiration and something interesting to read. And other times just to see which are the popular topics and the best appreciated and upvoted subjects in the blockchain. Yes, that's right! Those posts which show the most handsome figures of accumulated earnings before the period of payout. Which interestingly, are only those upvoted by the cetaceans.

And I have to confess, admit and recognize that many times this activity gives me a great deal of joy observe so many of my Venezuelan countrym@n heading & hoarding these lists. Especially in the Hot Page. Which is obviously the page that show those posts which go in frank ascent as for monetary gains & rewards respect.

And then, I select a few of these posts to read 'em and at the end, out of pure curiosity, I also check who were those generous sea mammals who pumped this kind of content to the so appealing canopies of the Hot Page. Exactly, all these posts at barely one step to penetrate into the Trending Page with only another fat and greasy upvote of another whale's category 'curator' like those mentioned above.

But... and I wonder why always has to be a but.

Suddenly I notice, perceive and confirm that the majority of these well rewarded posts in the Hot Page, almost all of them verses mainly about: Makeup/Cosplay, Cook Recipes, Travels & Expeditions, some kind of Art, Photography & Crafts and Games & Movie reviews in first place. And then, the odd one related to some challenge or contest going on out there somewhere.

¿Where lies the more serious, intellectual and sophisticated subjects?

The Trending Page seems exclusively reserved for these same whale-sized curators and witnesses (when they post something), their very close lodge of courtiers, cheerleaders, chums, pals and sycophants and eventually one or another dApps developer that suddenly pops up out of nowhere with the announcement of a new update, report or whatever stuff that nobody understand.

This is the only caste and lineage of Hiveians whose content manages to accumulate and show figures of up to 3 digits on the left of earnings early on during the seven days before the period of payout. Do you also feel kinda puzzled and wonder why?

«Chapter Three»

And now, I imagine you wonder what the title of this post has to do with all the entertaining and didactic verbiage that I have made you read so far. Sure?

The death of Zip, Jaz & Flash. Oh yeah! you can bet that these Zip, Jaz & Flash guys has been old good friends of mine with which I have had many exciting stories to tell of our adventures and misadventures together.

But I suspect this post has already turned out too long. And although I confess that I originally intended to include some of that old story in the context of this post. (Hence, the fact that I've chosen such a title) I think now it is too late to rectify and change it for another one less captivating.

Actually, the headline of this article only has something to do with the context of my latest post where I peeked the possibility of starting a series of articles in a row about the plethora of past online projects that I have developed over the years. The experiences lived during those years. And what really brought me to the blockchain 5 years ago. But yeah, I will have to leave all that great stuff for a next post.

Because as I said before, this post has already got too long. And now I can only aspire and hope that you have the necessary patience to stay in tune to see what all this new serie of posts is all about.

The point is that this curious matter of whales behavior and their highly biased preferences to upvote & 'curate' content. Suddenly crossed my quirky radar and to tell the truth, I didn't want to miss the opportunity to comment on it. Even to the detriment of breaking the continuity of my last post.

Oh wait! and the picture? Where's the picture of this post?

Alright, alright. ¡Feel pleased now!
