Entertainment: Cultural differences in movies

Hi everyone

I will title this blog Cultural Differences.

So, today i want to share my thoughts on how some countries and its people acts or behaves, i draw my write up today from movies,soap operas and telenovelas.
As a teenager in those days i love to watch a lot of foreign movies, i still do anyways. I will pick three countries,i will be talking on their love scenes,action,and violence, but i will major on love.
The countries or culture are :America,
India,Mexico/Colombian

Love scenes in Americanmovies or series, are quite straight forward, they show affection and the actual act of it,like kissing, hugs and romance are normal and real.

Love scenes also in Mexican /Colombia telenovelas are the same as the western, although sometimes too much, but they are real and we can relate to to it.
The movies and telenovelas, helps us here in Nigeria to know more about the culture and ways of these countries, their people and all.

Love in the indian movies or series are something else, we do love india tv series alot, but i in particular, am baffled, on their love scenes and it leaves me wondering if thats the way it is practiced in their country, Example :a man loves a woman and he finds it hard to hug her,just the mere brush of their hands can take over 5minutes,the lingering look they give each other,not even a kiss for the whole series.

Sometimes the heroine will want to fall and the hero will catch her, and they will stay that ways for minutes on end.

Now to violence:
In an American or mexican/colombian series or telenovelas the violence acts looks real, when there is an act where the villain beats or have a fight with the Actor ,it look real or a kidnapping scene ,even an escape scene, the fighting etc,i become enthralled.

But in the india series as much as i love to watch these series, their scenes of violence are pretty ridiculous, for example you would have seen it that someone doing something bad had been caught by the actor,all of a sudden they will show it that he wasn't caught,too Much unnecessary drama and suspence.

Although i love all these movies, series,telenovelas, especially the. Indian series but i would like the. To put in mind their viewers are not dumb, and would love soms real love and action,because very few of them are straight forward.

Although i want to believe the indian culture dont kiss from what have seen in their tv series.but i would love to see some real acting,i hope i don't sound like a Critic.
I would love feedbacks and more enlightenment on the india culture.
