There's A Way Out - Hope

For every challenge that comes to someone, there will always be solution for it. I Remember when were were in high school, when studying for exams, we used past questions to aid our studies. One thing with that particular one we used was that the answers to the questions were at the back, so if we got stuck in a particular questions, we would refer to the back for solution. Similar, in the challenges of life, there will always be solutions.

Why wait till you come to the end of the tunnel before you will see light? Well, just to let you know, you can have your own light even inside the darkest of the tunnels. That's hope. Hope is simply an assurance that good things will happen even when the prevailing situation suggests otherwise. With your hope alive, you will not bow down your head to quit and you will not take "no" for answer.

Having hope does not mean denying the existence of challenge nor disproving the fact of the current situation but it means having a strong belief that as long as there is life (which is the ultimate solution), every other solution can be achieved. Once you have this belief, it will show in your actions.

Your actions will have to align with your belief and with your hope in order for the solution to your challenges to come. Challenges do not get solved by doing nothing. You have to put in necessary actions to see them solved. When you are not satisfied with the trend of event, you do not have to wait for it to change on their own.

The changes that you see around are direct results of actions that have taken place (by others). So to have your own change, you have to take your own actions, otherwise you will be subjected under the effect of someone else's change, and the change will continue like that until a counter change arises. This is also in sympathy with one of the laws of Isaac Newton:

A body will continue at it state of rest or in motion until a force is acted on it

In the context of hope, the force that is needed to bring about the change you need is called "action". Having hopes without complementing it with actions will not profit you anything because your hope must be based on something for it to produce. Hope can be likened to a seed. No matter how long a farmer holds a seed in his barn, it will not multiply but when he plants it, it will bring forth fruits.

When action meets hope, then the result is birthed. Imagine someone looking for employment but the only thing he does is to hope for employment to come. He will wait for long. However, when he puts in actions like submitting his CV, applying for jobs and so, his redemption will come quickly.

Hope is not meant to make you irresponsible but it should help you to assume more responsibility which will bring the positive change that you need.
