Evening after a hard day

Winter has come to my city, a strong wind is blowing outside, breaking the bald branches of trees. Snow is expected, the streets are empty, everyone is in their warm homes with their family. Night has fallen and after a hard day I am sitting in my armchair reading my favorite book. and I am warmed by a strong fire from the fireplace. I look at that fire and think what the world would look like if no fire was found?

Would the world have survived without fire at all. Today, it is easy to light a fire, but what did it look like before when there were no lighters, matches, electricity? I would not have the patience to rub two branches against each other quickly and after a very long time to get fire.

That is why I am grateful because I live in this time where I have a mallet, because if I didn't, I would probably freeze. After thinking about the fire, I went back to reading my favorite book, and the hot cheeks warmed by the fire, I fell asleep in a comfortable armchair by the fireplace.
