HOW TO MAKE EGG ROLLS

I always love trying out new things and because it's sit at home,there is always time for practicals,one of the things I have been after is this Corona virus period is to enhance my skills so I would come out better after this pandemic.

So I would be sharing recipe for how to make your yummy egg roll,so you could also try yours at home and give me feedback.

Egg rolls

Recipe

  • 5 cups of all purpose flour

  • 1/4 of sugar

  • Nutmeg 1 seed(grate it)

  • 1 cooking spon of Margarine

  • 1 satchet of milk flavor

  • 2 tablespoon powdered milk

  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder

  • 10 boiled eggs

  • Warm water for mixing

Please feel free to use normal powdered milk or liquid milk in place of the milk flavour as mentioned above.

  • First step is to properly sieve your flour, then add your salt, sugar, margarine, baking powder, milk flavor and nutmeg. Mix all ingredients dry till it forms a crumbly look. Then start adding water to flour bit by bit. Work on the flour for about 2-3 mins till it forms a smooth dough with no lumps.

  • Cover your dough With a foil and allow to rest for about 30mins. Cut out 10 doughs from the dough. Rub in oil on your palm. Take the dough, make a hole on it and place your egg. Then cover properly to avoid it breaking while frying.

  • Place a pot of oil on fire, allow to hit up and fry your egg rolls till it's golden brown.

Your eggroll is ready!

Please remember to test your oil with a little dough before frying,if it takes a while before the dough comes up then it's ready for frying,too hot oil will make your egg roll burn or the outer part will be cooked while the inner part would be uncooked.
