The pink laurel decorates with its beautiful flowers in different shades of pink many green areas of the place where I live, it is always a great joy for me to spend every morning and discover a new bouquet of flowers that brings joy to my eyes.

Today is my day off from my daily workout routine.

I call it active rest because I still went out before the sun will give us its first rays.

I took my phone and with my best smile I went out to walk and breathe mountain air, we have had many days with cloudiness, I take advantage of the morning and to walk or exercise that is for me the best weather.

When I go out to train my daughter does not allow me to be distracted by the phone camera so
the day of rest is to make some shots of this beauty that surrounds me.

On my tour I can see many flowers of different nuances of colors.

Solanum elaeagnifolium.

The leaves and lower stems are covered with a soft fluff that gives the entire plant a silver or grayish appearance. The leaves are about 15 cm long by 0.5 to 2.5 cm wide and have a wavy edge. The flowers have five sepals attached to form a star, which are generally pale lavender blue, have five more or less cone-shaped yellow stamens. The fruit resembles tomato and each contains about 60 seeds. All parts of the plant are poisonous, although the fruit is considered non-toxic once it has matured.

Saint Lucia flower.

The stems are green, fleshy and cylindrical. The leaves are lanceolate and their sheaths cover buds capable of producing ramifications. The first tillers appear when the plant has 3 to 4 leaves. At low densities each plant is capable of producing approximately 50 basal branches. The inflorescences are protected by a green spathe and the flowers comprise two blue or white petals joined at the end, a smaller white petal, numerous yellow stigmas and a stamen. It is very attractive to bees. The fruits are capsules with three seeds.

Hibisco

Variety nuanced with folded petals of a Hibiscus flower.

The easiest way to multiply them is through stakes. They can also be multiplied by seeds or by air layering.
If you prefer to multiply them by cuttings, it is highly advisable to use rooting hormones, in this way the cuttings almost never fail and you will have new plants quickly.
The soil must have a perfect drainage to avoid moisture retention for a long time. They also need to grow on substrates rich in organic matter.
