You can wear your scars with pride as a badge of honor as if to say:! Look what happened to me! It has made me what I am now and I can overcome everything that life puts before me.
No one has ever had a perfect life and no one ever will, it is only up to us if we choose to paint our broken pieces gold and make them beautiful. Do not be ashamed of what you have been through, everything that has happened to you has been for a reason so the more we deny it, the more we complain and do not accept what has happened to us the less it will be useful to us.
The moment we accept and find that which is useful in adversity and the past is like us painting the cracks in our broken pieces of gold turning something that could be ugly into something beautiful and inspiring.
When what has happened to us inspires other people, then it was worth it so don't get caught up in how things were before.
