In Nigeria we are so much endowed with soil gifted with wide range of land mass with gives us more privilege to be a great farmer with the respect to hardwork, persistence and also bless with good rainfall pattern. In line with what I brought this morning is one of the best Vegetable Specie which required no much effort before it gets germinated but yet still needed to be care for, for couple of weeks before you leave it on its own.

Furthermore, going through the process of Planting and Cultivation Using the stem is highly necessary and it must be a very healthy Vegetable stem. Among few Vegetable grown here in Nigeria and other African countries are grown with Stem.I once planted this and it was found dead within few weeks. This was because it was planted during the dry season and it got a little water supply.

I love going into deep research with Practical backup in every cases, that was why I needed to go several miles to go get the pictures for evidence and my audience to see it clearly with the stem. It was a very big farming experience only for the strong head farmers. In Nigeria generally, we have several green , red Vegetables and in the other color aspect, I will bring to you more other Vegetable colour that we consume easily here in Nigeria but rear to come by in other countries.

When I said something about the propagation method, I made mention of the Stem. Here we go, the stem can survive up to 16 weeks on the bear floor without being dried even in the dry season. This is the mystery of the particular green vegetable. It has a longer stay period on the soil without Planting it.

The leaves are very wide than other Vegetable Specie you can ever imagine or meet. It just like a Cassava leaf apparently not.

How To Cook This Mysterious Vegetable Specie ( Jerusalem Vegetable)

There are few steps you need to take when planning to cook this kind of Vegetable for yourself, your family members, your restaurant. Yes 😉.

Step 1.

• When you go to the Vegetable tree, you need to put on your hand Nylon gloves to protect your hands from hurting and having a scratch. This is because, this mysterious Vegetable will use its hairy leaf formation to tap and attract your hands, by so doing it will pour its hairy portion in your skin. What next 🤔🤔🤔. You start to scratch your hands , what next? 😩😩😫😫😩😢😥😓😥😢. You cry. So proper precautions need to be taken.

Step 2.

• Slightly, drop the Vegetable leaf one by one on a big bowl to avoid and further hand-picking when it falls down again. But for me, I can fetch this Vegetable with bear hands and it will do nothing for me or to my skin. This is why you need to be a PRO 😋😋.

Step 3.

• You need to pour a very hot water 100 degree centigrade on the Vegetable inside the bowl for 10 minutes before thinking of handling it with your ordinary hands. Then, you drain the excessive water and you start to chop it bit by bit. At this point, you are free to create and other kitchen episode with it.

The Bottom line.

• It supplies more blood into the body when prepared or smashed and prepared into tea form.
