I wanna thank everyone who helped me this past few weeks, it has been incredible writing here, this experience, writing so often, has been something new and exciting for me as much as it was enriching.
I learnt a lot from reading well written posts and practicing (almost) everyday. I feel like my English has gotten better, my ability to write...
It just goes so fluently now, it helped me at work as well.
This positive environment you guys created is just so awesome. Maybe it's just the gamification in action, but I also wanna believe that those who were nice were from good intent.
I also wanna send a special thank you to @ralexandria and @vempromundo, I know I already mentioned you on my last post, but I wasn't expecting to reach 100 POB right after posting it hahaha Thank you guys from bringing me here and training me, helping me understand how things work and how to write good posts.

Agradeço a todos que me ajudaram nas últimas semanas, foi incrível escrever aqui, essa experiência, escrever tantas vezes, tem sido algo novo e empolgante para mim, tanto quanto enriquecedor.
Aprendi muito lendo posts bem escritos e praticando (quase) todos os dias. Sinto que meu inglês melhorou, minha habilidade de escrever...
Agora é tão fluente que me ajudou no trabalho também.
Esse ambiente positivo que vocês criaram é tão incrível. Talvez seja apenas a gamificação em ação, mas também quero acreditar que quem foi legal foi de boa intenção.

The amount of gifs was really overkill (I noticed that too, @onealfa.pob), but I still wanted to encourage this user for the effort. However, I won't do this again if the user repeats this overdose of gifs (it's quite annyoing).
P.S.: With an exception for some contests where this might seem appropriate or fun (but still, na exaggeration).

Post as many gifs as you want mate. POB is for whatever freedom of expression you decide. Don't let people put you in a box.
Some people make posts with a couple of sentences and some pictures of flowers and then 100% selfvote it. At least yours was fun.
Well, I kinda agree that 11 gifs was a bit much, but I still left 5, because this is my post: I'm excited, gifs are exciting, so I expressed myself through gifs! But I thank you for supporting my point of view! If every post is the same copy-paste from the last one, then what's point? ✌🏼😁

Still, it's sad to see the edit to your post this morning. Do some thinking about that mate. Some guy waving the prospect of tokens around successfully managed to change a part of you there. How does that make you feel?
Well, I'm usually a very chilled out guy, I don't fight when it's not absolutely necessary... In this specific occasion I was just trying to be a good sport, I mean, there was a basis for the criticism and I'm new here, I gotta listen and learn a lot before I create my own solid conclusions about the platforms, posts, etc.
On the other hand, to me it's not only about me expressing myself, but also about giving something forward, so if it was so "unprofessional" as onealfa and wiseagent pointed out, I wanna learn how the pros do it, so I opened myself up for the criticism... it's ok.
But, I mean, I do have my limits. I took the gifs down from 11 to 5, but not less. If there was still criticism after the edit I would just say "sorry you don't like it, but it is what it is. I'm not trying to offend anyone, but if you must downvote it, go ahead".
Excuse my short-sightedness.
Well fair play to you, respect. Hopefully, the "professional" vibe doesn't sink into your thinking too much though. There is room for all manners of content here. Like I said yesterday, don't put yourself in a box ;)

As for the content, I am already of a creative personality, my life struggle is more about how to structure myself and meet deadlines then anything else hahaha
But you got a point, I have to draw a line, focusing too much on making it "professional" will hinder my creativity at some point...

What do you mean exactly, @calumam? That I gave an upvote and commented on a post that I should not like (because it pisses me off)?
I keep getting annoyed with these types of posts (be it posted by anyone), but at least this one had a photo with a high quality. The only mistake (from my point of view) is that the POB community shouldn't be the first choice for these types of posts.
P.S.: And yes, self-voting on these types of posts is also something I don't like, but the right to self-vote belongs to each user.
I guess that's up for debate. In my opinion, the photo quality was poor and the attached written content nearly put me to sleep (which is quite the achievement considering it's only a couple of sentences).
But that's my opinion, who am I to say what is valuable on the POB platform?
My point is that just because some larger stakeholder says he doesn't like something, doesn't mean it's correct. The way he stated the rewards at the beginning and acted all friendly just gives off a manipulative vibe overall (imo). Bad news.

That's what it's about. I didn't see any offense in responses to you, personally. People have their opinions, and the best opinions have advertised reasons to them.
In the case of @onealpha, he stated his opinion about how he saw the value of your work. He provided a recommendation and moved on with his day. No DV applied. @calumam and @wiseagent also lent their advice. That is good too. The proofofbrain will be how you utilize the advice given to add value to the blockchain. If it adds value to many, including yourself, then you succeed.

Thank you for the constructive criticism @onealfa.pob! I usually write a lot in my posts, this one was a little more on the experimental side. The gifs were meant to be the html equivalent of fireworks, but I completely agree with you, I got too excited and got carried away. Thank you for forgiving the newbie here and not downvoting me, I will take some gifs off now and I'll try not to make the same rookie mistake again. Thank you for your input! ✌🏼😁

POB community means = Free writing. I just made the mention of post overdose because it can sound pretty nerve-racking (in search of recognition or to express something).
