Let's Celebrate "Tupac's Birthday" With One of His Many Rap Songs 🎙 Better Dayz

Today is an awesome day for many Rap Music fans, as we celebrate the life and songs created by the legendary "Tupac". As Today is "Tupac's Birthday" 🎙 on the National Calendar for Wednesday 16th June 2021.

Tupac (2Pac) Shakur, played a key role in the development of hip hop music. He sold over 75 million records, acted in several movies, and positioned himself as a voice of social and racial justice.

He was shot in a Las Vegas "drive-by" shooting at the young age of 25. Tupac sadly died in Hospital on the 13th Sept 1996 [ RIP 🙏 ]

Leaving behind an unmatched legacy, Tupac’s death shocked the world, with hundreds of mourners showing up outside the hospital where he passed away. The entire entertainment industry was shaken, especially since there were no leads in the case.

Still, it was believed that Tupac’s death would end the East Coast/West Coast rivalry. However, after just 6 months later the rapper Notorious B.I.G was also murdered in similar circumstances.

A number of posthumous song releases followed Tupac’s death, the biggest of them being “Don Killuminati” and “R U Still Down?” in 1996 and 1997, “Still I Rise” in 1999, “Until the End of Time” in 2001.

My song choice Today is "Better Dayz", simply because it's 2Pac's Birthday and I think we all hope for better days! Especially from the current Covid-19 deadly pandemic.

I also remember watching on several UK TV News channels as the story unfolded about the tragic shooting of 2Pac back in 1996. A very sad and most shocking day for many other Rappers around the World.
