In den Nachrichten gab es ja zuletzt einige Schlagzeilen über den Bitcoin und die Energieverschwendung. Den Anfang machte dabei China und deren entlegenen Gebiete mit schlecht ausgebauter Infrastruktur.

Jetzt hat der Iran in den letzten Tagen nachgezogen und verbietet das minen von Kryptowährung. Wenn eine sehr alte Infrastruktur und alte Kohlekraftwerke auf neu Grafikkarten treffen, dann ist meist ein Blackout die Folge.

Laut Markus Fugmann hat der Iran vorher noch die Miner mit kostenlosen Strom angelockt. Nach den ersten Blackouts in Krankenhäusern war aber schnell klar, dass dies ein schlechtes Geschäft war.

Wie sieht nun die Zukunft von den Minern aus, denn ohne würde die Chain ja nicht funktionieren. Es kann eigentlich nur mit 100% ökologisch hergestellten Strom funktionieren, denn sonst wird immer ein Zweifel bestehen.
