On the Radar

Two back-to-back posts about POB, I can't get that pink brain out of my mind.

In my post yesterday, @oldmans mentioned that his first post here in POB was something that he'd been thinking about for a while but didn't have anywhere to post it. This perspective is something that is important for the Proof Of Brain tribe to consider.

Being a general topic community with a focus on authentic and engaging content produced by the human brain, POB has the opportunity to pick up those posts which may not have any particular focused niche in mind. It's just going to come down to the attention that the project can garner.

It's understandable that people will want to post from the front-end they are most comfortable with as well as wanting the opportunity to receive more tokens or perks. We're all looking to increase our crypto assets while participating in the social space after all.

I wonder how many people realise that they will get better visibility if they post via the Proof Of Brain front-end and will have a better chance of receiving POB tokens that way. This leads me onto something.

Do you know the tagline that appears at the bottom of comments which state where the comment was posted from? I'd like to see that for Proof Of Brain. This kind of visibility is subtle and gets the name all over the place.

It would also be neat if there was some kind of interface tool that would show us comments posted exclusively from the front-end. A scrolling chatbox of sorts with all the comments posted and the link to the post. This could lead to comments being upvoted more readily which could lead to further discussions generated by POB.

It feels like as good a time as any to be throwing ideas out there and seeing what people think. There are plenty of opportunities in the future for posts about the disappointment of no chocolate eggs on Easter Sunday.

Some great ideas! I especially like adding the "Posted via proofofbrain.io" to the comments.

Definitely, just a simple line saying where it's from does the job nicely. I'd be more inclined to increase the vote percentage for comments that had it (if the comment is deserving of an upvote of course).

If I'm on Peakd or Leo Finance it also allows me to jump to Proof Of Brain front end to make my vote if I choose to.

Oh yeah, I didn't notice that it is the direct link to the comment on POB. That's handy!

Just saw it pop up in another comment I made so it's up and rolling. I quite like how it's centered below the comment. Not too sure about the horizontal break-line though, seems unnecessary.

I'm not one to celebrate holidays but I have to say I did have a hellish craving for chocolate yesterday lol. This daily fasting routine gives way for some mega overeating temptations.

Funnily enough, it wasn't really an issue before I started the Occams Protocol routine as I was only having two meals a day within an 8-hour window and my hunger was always satisfied. But now I'm up to 3 meals a day in the same window and I'm still hungry between meals. It could be that it's working and I need to further increase my food intake to keep up with muscle growth, fortunately I enjoy my food so this isn't an issue.
