Nature is everywhere. I live in an urban area, but within a few kilometers there are a couple of nice spots where you can make a walk in nature. There are some spots I regularly go for a walk with my camera. Sometimes I take it to a park or a forest, but this time I made a walk around a nearby lake. The lake is surrounded by open fields wild a lot of wild flowers and plants that attract a lot of insects.
But because the summer had come to an end, a lot of plants have dried out and there aren't many insects left.

The thistles are one of the few flowers that are still in bloom.
But the summer has ended here, so there's not a lot of flowers left.

The butterflies and bees have quite some difficulties to get their nectar before the real cold sets in.

Here's some other dried out plants. This is the Wild teasel. It has nice rings of purple flowers, but it's all dried out now.

And this is nature too. I don't know what caused this mole to die, but it was lying in the grass like this. Because they live underground most of the time I haven't seen these moles very often. But I rather don't see them like this 😥
