As in,
We bought some seed corn, but we’re too lazy to put it in the ground. We’re too lazy even to open the cobs. We’re just going to wrap it in dough and eat it like that. We’ve done this before. You know what they say. If at first you don’t shuck seed, pie, pie again.

Some great entries last week for sure!

I know an emergency room doctor and someone came in because he took too much viagra and had an erection that wouldn’t go away. They had to drain the blood out of it to get it to stop and when he was done the guy thanked him for the hard work he did, his wife was going to try but he was nervous she would damage it on purpose.

I have always noticed the hard work that mailmen put in but I was curious as to why most in the industry are men. One day I decided to get some clarification from the mailman that worked our street. He told me, "Yes its hard work and long hours. The reason there aren't many women in our line of work is because its a mail dominated business".

i work in the sanitation business- the bulk of my job is driving around to different porta potty sites, campgrounds and parks - you know, sucking up waste... it's a dirty job, but someone has to do it.

the job is very physical, i have to constantly lug around a 50 pound, 100 foot hose and definitely go through a lot of hand gloves and sanitizer! although my hours are long and hard, the paycheck is rewarding, even though at the end of the day i always end up pooped.
