Will Gold Hold it's value as we reach the outer galaxies and discover other precious metals

image.png

This is a questions I have asked myself many times as we move forward into an new era of exploration of Mars and the Moon.

There is the belief amongst some that the rare minerals and metals of the outer planets may indeed become rather more valuable than the metals we hold precious on earth and with great reason.

These metals may unlock never before dreamed of uses and with that rather high values.

Some may contain uses well beyond our expectations

These minerals and metals may well far exceed our expectations and is it any reason as to why they may do so.

In humanities history the more rare a mineral or metal the more valuable it has become, imagine if you will being the only one of or a handful of people that owns a ring, necklace or artifact that contains within it precious minerals or metals from a distant galaxy.

If so then those items would indeed be worth way more that their weight in Gold, therefore is it any reason that we are currently seeing a massive resurgence of wealthy businessmen vying to concur other Galaxies. Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic, Geoff Bezos, Blue Moon and Elon Musk's SpaceX

Are the most successful to attempt this huge feat, in fact they have probably be more successful in the last decade than NASA has been in the past 70 years.

Is there something they have failed to disclose or are we seeing a modern day Gold rush of the twenty first century.

Just owning a piece of jewellery made of such metals would put you heads above the rest of the world and most definitely be worth more than the actual crown jewels of the Queen of England.

Think about that for one second, an innovative group of businessmen that has emerged over the past 20 years could actually eclipse the wealth of the British Monarchy that has been established for millenia.

Now is probably the best time to think outside that universal box and imagine what your potential could actually be if you dared to dream big, because in this bold new future they have created for us, there is no other way to dream about the endless opportunities that may await us if we dare to do so.

So again I ask you are Will Gold Hold it's value as we reach the outer galaxies and discover other precious metals or are we bound to an earth bound way of thinking that only the explorers of our time may understand.

Cryptocurrencies offer you a way out of that way of thinking. like nothing we have seen before it. will you act on your impulses or be a shepard of the oldland.

I know which Path I will choose.

I think we already know all the uses for every metal. There are no metals yet to be discovered.

As for the value of gold, it is currently artificially held at a very low value by the world's central banks. We don't know the real current value of gold, but it is at least many times higher than the $2000 or so it's at lately.

Will it hold value as we go into the future? A very good question. It has a 5000 year track record so far, but who knows, maybe space exploration will change things.

I think there are many other metals and minerals that are still undiscovered in the outer planets, given the vastness of space and the many different atmospheres, even a meteor rock with Iron ore is currently more valuable than gold because of it's rarity.

As we see greater attempts to explore the universe I believe we may see mining colonies set up to find many other minerals and metals and their various uses for technology, medicine and many other purposes.

Not a metal, but a gas. Helium 3.

Definietly Gas is another resource I didn't touch on with this article, energy sources beyond our current understanding may well exsist and the further we get to explore the higher chances are we will eventually discover them and as you mention Gas could be another very valuable find.

ooh really interesting question! There already exists on Earth more rare, more expensive precious metals than gold and they have not supplanted gold as the mainstay safe haven for funds in times of economic downturn, nor have they replaced gold as an important ingredient in technology and jewellery. However, I take the point that our ventures into deep space and the potential for harnessing new sources of precious metals previously unknown to humanity, with uses potentially beyond our current imaginations, is definitely a serious consideration. If we do discover incredible new resources that we can feasibly return to Earth, then Gold could certainly have some competition on its hands. Do I sell up at the next ATH or invest more?🤷 (NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE😂)

Yep, its a question I think only time will reveal, but there are definitely some that I think may not push gold of it's perch but could be rather more valuable due to rarity.

I don't think we should start selling up those gold bars just yet Lol, but it wouldn't hurt to be aware of the possiblities of what may be found.
