Birthday Month and Pride

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I’ll be 55 in a week, so early in my life when folks outside of my sphere had issues with the LGBTQ community, it was never even a thought for me.

I have family members, very dear friends and former bosses and co-worker’s that are part of that community and I love them, respect them and proud of them all.

So, I don’t have a father son relationship with my dad; because honestly he doesn’t deserve it, so Father’s Day being on my birth month is ironic. The 🇵🇷 Puerto Rican Parade is in June, which is near and dear to my heart, since my late mother was Puerto Rican.

Now, these days; we also celebrate Pride Month and I couldn’t ask for a more amazing community to share my birthday month with. My fiancé Tiffany and me love the LGBTQ community and it’s ok with me to have rainbows 🌈 along with my sunshine as I close another year of my life 🙏🏼

The other awesome thing is that Orangetheory Fitness, which is practically Tiffa and my second home is all about it ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🤍❤️‍🔥
