Is truth a demand we have as human beings?
There is an intense desire in every man to know the truth of all the things that surround us and that are around us and in ourselves, this is something that is linked to our own nature in an incredible way, this is also something that we cannot give up.
All human beings have ever asked themselves, what are things, what are they about, what are they like, why are things like that, why are there evil, why is there good, why do we exist, where do we come from and where are we going? So it is really important to ask ourselves all this, but beyond that there is something fundamental and that is that through all this there is a demand for truth and to know it.
We do not simply want an answer but we want that answer to be really true and for it to be true it has to correspond to reality because truth is the reality of facts, truth is based on evidence, something logically and scientifically and also philosophically verifiable. And this we learn to see in all areas of our life where we see that things are real, there is truth in the fact that I have a house, there is truth in the fact that I have a family, there is truth in the fact that tomorrow the sun will rise, then there is truth.
An example of this when we read a publication on the internet or when we read a newspaper, the news we are reading pretends to go according to the reality of the facts we expect that what it says there is true, you saw the friendship who wants a friendship where there is no sincerity, or somehow we value the friendship based and sincerity and honesty, because it is through the sincerity and honesty of that friend that that does not manifest the truth to what we ourselves respond with honesty and sincerity so we show that the bond that unites the friendship is the truth.
There is a strong demand for truth in each of us which leads us to seek answers to all the questions that reality poses to us, this is the most valuable heritage of any scientific activity, we need more communities of master disciples to seek the truth in which philosophy is one of the fundamental disciplines.
