Our Mysterious Orchid Finally Bloomed

We found a wild orchid inside our farm. It was stuck on the root of a coconut. We had it relocated to our backyard garden where our other orchids are. It has been there for months and we were waiting for it to bloom for it to be identified. We had an idea it was going to be pretty because it was from the wild.

This morning, it finally showed us some flowers and we were surprised. It looked familiar but we were not sure if we have seen such before. Orchids have lots of varieties. We used an app to identify the plant and also asked our friends in Facebook if they had an idea what it is called.

All were in unison, the result of the app and the comments from our friends were all saying this is a Tiger Orchids. Wow! It is uniquely pretty and we are glad we took care of it. We will do our best to propagate it so we can have more around our garden.
