MY VISITATION TO A NEARBY NEIGHBOR'S GARDEN // AMAZING TO SEE PUMPKIN LEAVES // LIFE OF A FARMER.

GOOD MORNING HIVERS,

There is this my neighbor of mine who I had informed that I would love to visit her garden. Her garden attracted me is that her pumpkin branches reach the fence top. So as I woke up this morning ,I went to her house but didn't met her but she had left a message for her people to allow me enter garden whenever I come around. Pumpkin plan is a plant leaves that I have been craving and planning to plant.

This pumpkin leaf significantly carries a lot of health benefits that people do overlook. And here,we locally call it "ugu" leaf it is very common to the Ibos ,these are people who reside in the Eastern part of Nigeria. Some of the health benefits of pumpkin leaf is that it has concentration of iron,vitamin A ,vitamin C and calcium. And its also good for treating constipation.

There are some other plants I saw there that it's only the owner who can explain,I wouldn't mind come back next time so that she can tell me names of the plants she is planting.

Finally, what really amazed me is that I saw a some heaps,guess what ,this lady encourages herself to cultivate yam. That is definitely yam heaps with the way they are designed , because when my Dad was alive that is how he always and usually designed his yam heaps. This how you can recognize a heap for yam cultivate,ontop of the heaps you can see like some tachered white sacks. It's used to prevent the soil and the yam inside the heap from too much hot sun but my Dad usually used excess of dried leaf and place it ontop of the heaps.
