How I make my Turkish Coffee and about fortune telling

Turkish Coffee

Hello!

Today I want to talk to you about how to make Turkish Coffee, one of my favourite types of coffee, how I enjoy it and also how I tell fortunes. I rolled up my sleeves, now it's your turn.

The first thing to do is to try to find fresh, freshly ground Turkish coffee. Since the pre-packaged ones usually use stale coffee beans, they taste more bitter, and I personally don't like them.

I wanted to add a close-up photo to give you an idea of the state of the coffee. What makes this coffee good is not so much the beans and how they are ground, but how they are cooked. But of course, as you coffee lovers know, quality beans make the flavour even better. Sometimes the quality of the bean is even more important.

Anyway.

There is not much you need to make Turkish Coffee. A small cup of drinking water (the cup you will drink the coffee from), tap water will change the taste, 1 teaspoon of Turkish Coffee and a pot.

This jar holds exactly half a kilogram of ground Turkish coffee. It made more sense to buy a quantity that would last for at least 3 weeks rather than constantly. I'm glad I did. You can imagine how much I love it. 🤣

Before starting to cook, add 1 teaspoon of Turkish Coffee to the coffee pot and pour water over it. If you put the water first and then the coffee, there will be lumps, and we don't want that, right? Afterwards, we mix it well before putting it on the fire again.

Now I will show you a method that is a bit lazier, but at the same time, I get better results. But! This does not mean that I will not talk about the original method.

When the coffee starts to boil slowly after about 10 minutes, this time on the smallest burner of the stove and on the lowest heat, after adding the foam to the cup with the help of a spoon, your coffee will be ready to drink when you boil the coffee and add it to the cup.

20240404_094553.jpg

But what I do is wait until it starts to boil on the highest heat of the smallest stove. When the tiny bubbles you see above start to appear, I pour the coffee directly into one third of the glass, and after putting it back on the stove and boiling it well, my coffee is ready.

Since I am very fond of comfort, I immediately grabbed my coffee and sat down at the computer to watch the episode I missed recently. Since it is a coffee that I usually drink during a conversation or when I go out, I don't want anything sweet with it anymore. But if you wish, you can add sugar when you put the coffee in. The less, the better.

Sugar takes away the foam of the coffee. Just keep this in mind if you want to prepare it yourself.

Coffee Reading

It is necessary to drink the coffee until the amount you see below remains in order to be able to read the coffee fortune. If you drink more, the coffee will not move, or if you drink less, it will be too liquid, and this time it will slip away.

Then, as you can see below, it is necessary to cover the coffee plate on it and hold it tightly.

After doing these, it is necessary to quickly turn it upside down and leave it to cool.

After about 10 minutes, it will be cool enough. The glass is ready to be opened. Now there are two possibilities you may encounter in this situation. The first is the opening of the glass. The second is that the glass does not open.

If the glass does not open, the majority of fortune tellers usually send the glass to be washed without looking at the fortune. There is also a tiny case here. The owner of the glass should at least run the glass through water.

As you can see, mine opened. That's why I kept fortune-telling.

After reading the cup, the coffee remaining on the plate is poured into the cup. The fortune telling continues in this way, but there is something else before that.

The owner of the cup is told to make a wish. After the wish is made, the glass is turned as you see in the picture and it is checked whether the coffee water passes to the back. Mine did. This means that my wish will come true. Hooray!

Well, this is all from me for now. Take care of yourself, stay with health and love and please remember that;

You are the only one of you.

What you told us about coffee and fortune caught my attention, here fortunes are also read in coffee, but I had no idea what the process was like. I hope your wish comes true.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us.☕

Beautiful coffee, I love its appearance, in my experience I can deduce that it is a medium roasted and pure coffee, it must have a lovely aroma and it is also perfectly balanced between acid and bitter.
I loved reading you and was intrigued to try it.
Here in Venezuela there are no such coffees but I would be grateful to have the opportunity to try one like the one you present to us.
Greetings and good morning
