There's so much to celebrate!

To mark the 3 month anniversary of Cinnamon Cup Coffee Community on the Hive Blockchain, in light of upcoming warmer months in several parts of the world, increased freedom of movement, and the re-opening of coffee shops in some countries (the UK in particular), we've decided to launch our very first #CoffeeLoversCompetition.

Cinnamon Cup Coffee Community would like to take this moment to say a special thank you to all subscribers for being part of the gang here at Cinnamon Cup Coffee, your virtual coffee shop. We recognise and appreciate your presence and dedication to this community 🤗

Since the inception of our community, we've had a steady growth of new subscribers, and we hope to continue to grow further. As was introduced to you some time ago, we hope to enhance the community and continue it's vibrancy within the blockchain, with the series of #CoffeeLoversCompetition - contests' to boost community spirit, and increase visibility amongst Hivers and Coffee Lovers on the Blockchain.

Can I enter? Of course, you can!

This competition is open to EVERYONE on the Hive Blockchain, who loves coffee, and is desirous to express their love for coffee.

  2. Your post (entry) must be submitted directly to Cinnamon Cup Coffee.
  3. Your article must cover all areas of the topic of the competition.
  4. Your post should not be older than the date of this Competition Announcement.
  5. State Clearly in your post: as the Title or at the Top Of Your Post, "Entry For Coffee Lovers Competition No. 1"
  6. Please use your own photos, or credit relevant sources clearly.
  7. Make awesome photos that are so appealing that it will make us all want to devour your coffee, and perhaps convert a non-coffee drinker.
  8. No Word Count specific, but please try to convey a strong message covering all points in topic, no need for an epistle, or a novel, but please, more than a paragraph.

Saw your community a while ago but will try to post in it here and there now! Former coffee lover forced to give it up but might get back into it in a few months. Tea just isn’t as delicious as coffee hahaha

I Knew It Was Love

An aroma of flavourful compounds filled the air as I entered a Dining Room, adjacent to the Lobby of a luxurious Caribbean Resort.
Like a trap, it drew me in.
So distinct was the smell, irresistible to taste.
I had just one sip...
It was the first time I fell in love with coffee.

The Nose

I often tell myself that my sense of smell is my strongest sense, so it's no doubt that I first fell in love with coffee because of its aroma.

According to Espresso Coffee Guide

"A coffee's aroma is also referred to as its Bouquet or nose, and is distinguished from a coffee's fragrance, which in coffee terms refers to the smell created by the coffee's vapors and gases - the volatile organic compounds - which are released from the coffee beans during grinding and then inhaled as aromatic compounds through the nose, contacting the nasal membrane."

Bitter, nutty, and strong is the natural taste of some varities of coffee, and what I love most coffee, is that I can alter it to my fancy.

My Morning Coffee

When I wake up in the mornings, I always drink a glass of ambient water, as it helps to rehydrate my body, aids digestion, and jumpstarts my system. Then, before you know it, I'm already thinking about the feel of my lips against my mug, filled with black liquid gold, and I come alive.

How I Prepare My Coffee

I usually have an assortment of coffee machines, as I like the different strengths, textures, and tastes each machine provides. However, at the moment, my life saver is my Moka Pot - which gives me a strong, black coffee.

My Favourite Coffee Drink

I love coffee any which way, and although my "home coffee drink" is always black, truth be told; my favourite coffee drink is Cappuccino, served in a ceramic or porcelain mug. The size, shape, colour, and design of my coffee mug is important to me, as all this psychologically determines my overall experience.

Coffee Shop Delights

Of course I seek coffee outside my home.
A day-out to a coffee shop is an outing that I'd never forego.

'Going to a Coffee Shop for Black coffee is like having sex for the sake of having children, without really enjoying the experience...'

The ambience, setting, and decor of Coffee Shops mean a lot to me.
My ideal coffee shop would be A Perfect Coffee Shop For An Old Soul which was posted by community member @macchiata a few months ago. I loved everything about this coffee shop.

The ecclectic collectibles and random pieces upcycled, recycled and used to complete the rustic, industrial, artsy, warm comfortable decor. This would be my happy place - my hideaway.
Still, whenever I go to a Cafe or Coffee Shop, or if I'm having a late coffee conversation with friends, I'll opt for milder coffee, like a Latte, sprinkled with Cinnamon :)

My best friend made me this attractive cup of Latte using her Nespresso machine, and sprinkled it with Cinnamon. I then stirred it, to taste the richness of the real coffee. Delicious!

My Future With Coffee

I love coffee so much!

To be honest, I plan to marry coffee with my breakfast, and on meet-ups with friends, I'll drink it happily forever.
