Today I wanted to share a new taste experience that I have been able to try and that I found quite interesting, although I wanted to share my creativity in the Spill The Beans contest, but since there was an opportunity until yesterday, well I have to wait until next Monday to see what's coming in the other contest.

El día de hoy quería compartir una nueva experiencia de sabor que he podido probar y que me resulto bastante interesante, aunque quería compartir mi creatividad en el concurso Spill The Beans, pero como había oportunidad hasta ayer, bueno me toca esperar hasta el otro lunes, para ver que se viene en el otro concurso.
But to take advantage of today's opportunity since this day has been one of the best days I've had in months, I wanted to share a tasty experience I discovered today while I was looking for a coffee, but I didn't have much money on my card and a pleasant surprise also happened to me when I was drinking this tasty coffee.
Pero para aprovechar la oportunidad de hoy ya que este día ha sido uno de los mejores días que he tenido en meses, quería compartir una experiencia sabor que descubrí el día de hoy mientras buscaba tomar un café, pero no tenía mucho dinero en mi tarjeta y una sorpresa agradable que también me ocurrió cuando estaba tomando este sabroso café.
So while I was walking down the street a very exquisite smell of coffee began to reach my nose, but this smell was not like the packaged coffee you buy at the supermarket, this smell was different, it smelled like 100% pure coffee, so with a lot of fearlessness I approached the bakery where they were grinding that coffee and I stayed there delighting myself for a moment with such an exquisite aroma. So rather than delight myself smelling a pure coffee, I wanted to buy one, but the problem is that I didn't have much money, maybe $1.5 on my card, since lately the job has not been paying very well, but I was very happy when I saw that the price of a 200ml glass of coffee cost 3 Bs or $0.53 and as I didn't want to drink the coffee alone, I bought a coconut cookie, which is of a very well known brand in my country, it is a waffer that you give to someone you feel like kissing haha. But I just wanted to kiss that glass of coffee, I bought one of these cookies and enjoyed a moment of a tasty mid-morning snack.
Así que mientras caminaba en la calle comenzó a llegar a mi olfato un olor muy exquisito de café, pero este olor no era como el del café empaquetado que compras en el supermercado, este olor era distinto, olía a café 100% puro, así que con mucha intrepidez me acerca a la panadería donde estaban moliendo ese café y me quede deleitándome un momento con tan exquisito aroma. Así que más que deleitarme olfateando un café puro, quise comprar uno, pero el problema es que no tenía mucho dinero, tal vez $1.5 en mi tarjeta, ya que últimamente el trabajo no ha estado pagando muy bien, pero me alegro mucho cuando vi que el precio de un vaso de 200ml de café costaba 3 Bs o $0.53 y como no quería tomarme el café solo, compré una galleta de coco, que es de una marca muy conocida en mi país, es un waffer que le regalas a alguien a quien le tienes ganas de besar jaja. Pero yo solo quería besar ese vaso de café, compre una de estas galletas y disfrute un momento de una sabrosa merienda de media mañana.
Because the coffee was so hot I had to sip it to avoid burning myself, but it was very rewarding. And although it was not a coffee that you buy in a coffee shop where they serve you with a heart of milk cream or where I could at least sit down, it was a rewarding experience that to be honest I had a long, long time without tasting a coffee that was so tasty. But besides that, when leaving the bakery I saw my dear mother with whom I shared a coconut cookie with coffee, it was also something that gave me a lot of joy, since I had not seen her for about 2 months and since I had not seen her for a long time I was worried about her due to the news of hurricanes that hit the area where I live and also that at that time my father left her home alone because my grandmother had an emergency operation.
Como el café estaba tan caliente tuve que tomarlo por sorbos para evitar quemarme, pero fue muy gratificante. Y aunque no era un café que compras en una cafetería donde te sirven con un corazón de crema de leche o donde al menos podía sentarme, fue una experiencia gratificante que para ser honesto tenía mucho pero mucho tiempo sin probar un café que fuera tan sabroso. Pero además de eso, al salir de la panadería vi a mi querida madre con quien compartí galleta de coco con café, fue también algo que me dio mucha alegría, ya que tenía mucho tiempo que no la veía aproximadamente 2 meses y como tenía mucho tiempo que no la veía estaba preocupado por ella debido a las noticias de huracanes que azoto en la zona donde vivo y además que en ese momento mi padre la dejo sola en casa porque mi abuela tenía una operación de emergencia.
So I was extremely anxious because where I live there was a great risk of landslide because I live at the bottom of a hill, so we could not leave the house because if something happened we would be in the street, so with my father-in-law and brothers-in-law we did the relevant work for 2 days to avoid a disaster, so I could not be with my mother in that difficult moment, but seeing her today as a surprise while she was coming back from the university, made my day and even more I was relieved to see that she was well and that although she was alone during the hurricane nothing happened to her, thanks to God. So as I had a long time without having a coffee with my mother I shared coffee with her, since 200ml of coffee was too much for me haha, so we talked for a moment while I was waiting for the bus to take her to where she lives.
Así que estaba sumamente angustiado ya que donde vivo había un gran riesgo de deslizamiento de tierra porque vivo en el pie de una colina, así que no podíamos dejar la casa porque si pasaba algo nos quedaríamos en la calle, así que con mi suegro y cuñados hicimos los trabajos pertinentes por 2 días para evitar un desastre, así que no pude estar con mi madre en ese momento tan difícil, pero verla hoy de sorpresa mientras ella regresaba de la universidad, me alegro el día y más aún me alivio bastante ver que estaba bien y que aunque estuvo sola durante el huracán no le paso nada gracias a Dios. así que como tenía mucho tiempo sin tomar un café con mi madre compartí café con ella, ya que 200ml de café era mucho para mi jaja, así que hablamos un momento mientras esperaba el autobús que la llevara a donde vive.
So this day gave me many joys, as well as a new favorite flavor of coconut flavored coffee, I can say that if you have the opportunity to try it do it, I know you will not regret it, the taste is really awesome. And also sharing with my mother a nice moment with my family made my day even better, I thank God for taking care of her and giving me these joys today. One last thing, is that I bought some spices to make a different coffee, something I have never done before and I have seen in videos that looks excellent, in a next post I will share the result of what I do.

Una última cosa, es que he comprado algunas especies para hacer un café distinto, algo que nunca he hecho antes y que he visto en videos que queda excelente, en una próxima publicación compartiré el resultado de lo que haga.

I often recommend to friends who drink coffee not to pour their hot coffee in a glass made of plastic or Styrofoam.
The material content of these two ingredients when in contact with your hot coffee, will very quickly damage the taste of the coffee. That's apart from the reason that these two ingredients are very harmful to our body, right?

Por como narras tu experiencia ese café fue la gloria y compartido con tu madre no tiene precio. No importa qué tan sencillo puedan resultar algunas cosas, la buena compañía, la felicidad de estar a su lado hacen hasta un vaso de agua memorable.
