He entered he room with cold hands, his didn't know if what his was feeling was fear or anger. Arthur had been in the kitchen of his house a few minutes earlier and had not found in the cupboard his cherished coffee. Thought him family had moved him, but it couldn't be a mistake, since he had been putting his coffee in the same place for years.

His mother could not be, she was a soul of God, she would not dare to commit that infamous act, it had to be his sister Antonella. Arthur knew that she hated he addiction to coffee, she constantly criticized him and made fun of him at family gatherings. Of course it was her, Arthur was convinced.

He began to bite his nails, anxiety consumed him What would he do now? He had to force Antonella to give him his adored coffee, and this had to be done soon, for without his morning cup of coffee he would easily lose his mind. He went downstairs trying to pretend, without much success, that everything was fine, of course Arthur's oddities didn't surprise his family, as they were used to it by now.

He observed his sister Antonella sitting on the couch with her niece Staphany who was barely six years old. He didn't have to think long, he had to bend his sister's will and he would do it through little Stephany. He looked at his sister fixedly, when she noticed his presence, she looked at Arthur with authority, he hated that look. In reality Antonella was worried, she appeared to be rude to Arthur, but she did not trust him, in that instant when they held each other's gaze she knew something was wrong, because Arthur never made eye contact with anyone.

A couple of hours passed and Arthur hovered around the room where Antonella and Stephany remained, he did not know how to attract his little niece, but having her in his power he had to keep her hidden, maybe he could gag her, he was not sure yet. For a moment he was afraid of the risks, if his sister was slow to accept the exchange, how long would the girl have to spend gagged? Would she endure it? He couldn't be distracted by that, he had to focus on his plan.

It took only a moment when Antonella left the room to go to the bathroom, and Arthur took the opportunity to approach the girl. He lured her by telling her that that day he would share with her some collection cards that Stephany loved, but because of their high value he would not let her touch them. So the girl went up to the room with her strange uncle. When Antonella arrived in the room again she was paralyzed, she knew it was not normal that Stephany had gone alone, she began to scream her brother's name, accompanied by a few curses.

Her parents came screaming, Antonella was out of control, they went in procession up to Arthur's room and found him sitting very quietly. Antonella rushed at him and beat him, asking for the child, for there was no trace of her in the room. Arthur's mother was pleading with him, but her pleas were not heard over Antonella's screams. The father on the other hand, was trying to hold his daughter while he looked at Arthur in disappointment and told him in a forceful voice that this would be the last madness they would put up with. For his part Arthur was smiling, the excitement of seeing his family fall apart made him forget about the coffee for a moment. He stared at Antonella and said in a calm voice:

-This will teach you not to mess with me, much less with my beloved coffee.

When Arthur's mother heard this, she ran to the kitchen. For she herself had moved Arthur's coffee, never imagining that her son would react in this way. She ran back to the room with the coffee container in her hands, when she was crossing the door the woman stumbled and the coffee ended up scattered on the floor of Arthur's room.

There began the real melodrama, Arthur knelt on the floor while crying and trying to pick up the coffee in his hands. Antonella was kicking in the air trying to scatter the coffee everywhere so that her brother would not retrieve it. The father grabbed Arthur by the collar of his shirt and with two dry blows broke his nose, asking him where is the girl? No one helped to lift the mother who remained on the floor in pain.

In the middle of this embarrassing family scene, little Stephany walked through the door of the room, carrying in her hand a chocolate ice cream that she had bought with a few cents that Arthur had given her for that purpose. The ice cream fell from her hand to the floor as she saw the dramatic situation: her grandmother on the floor, her uncle bleeding, her mother crying and her grandfather with an unrecognizable grimace.

Many things changed from that day on, Arthur's parents kicked him out of the house, a painful decision, with which they began to live a little calmer. For his part, Arthur was also better, knowing that now no one could hide his coffee. That strange day Arthur had sent the girl to the ice cream parlor around the corner, he never meant to hurt her. His only intention was to see his sister torn apart, experiencing the wrenching pain of having taken away from you what you the most love.

Oh my God, 2 innocent actions triggered a whole disaster, apparently revenge only brings disunity.

It was the best thing for that whole family, that Arthur did not live with them. I'm so glad you liked my story. Thank you for reading me.

Uhm that's heartbreaking. Why'd they let it get that far?? I don't agree with his father and his sister either.

Arthur is very violent, he should have asked for his coffee, it is normal, not to assume that it was the sister, and well it is best that he is not around and live happily with his favorite drink. Thanks for reading and visiting my post.

I could feel the tension and agitation from here, all the smile disappeared from my face while reading. But then again you can’t do something you know a person does not like and expect them to act in a calm or certain way. Great plot by the way.
