I saw a beauty in a fallen leaf awaiting to be swept away...

In less than an hour ago I was walking back from the shop, I walked pass this leaf (I tend to always walk pass and walk back when I find something beautiful if I can help it) so I walked back,picked up the dry fragile leaf and I actually say it to the leaf;

please don't break yet you are beautiful and I want a photo of you

I manged to handle the leaf with care because there was a slight wind in the air that could break the leaf further. On opening the gate Dora my neighbor was out in the yard and questioned

what are you going to do with a dead leaf?

I want to photograph it I responded, she laughed and said;

This lockdown is making people do funny things by picking up leaf on the road.

It was funny I couldn't stop laughing either.

But on a serious note I felt there is a beauty to this leaf, if well photographed, maybe another photographer could have done better than what me but I feel content with my capture.
